Nelson Amos Bolan (born 29 November 1990) is a Nevisian cricketer who has played for the Leeward Islands in West Indian domestic cricket. He is a right-handed batsman and right-arm fast-medium bowler.
Born on Tortola in the British Virgin Islands,Bolan emigrated to Nevis (itself part of the larger Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis) at an early age,and went on to represent both Nevis and the Leeward Islands in regional underage tournaments. [1] Considered an all-rounder,he made his Twenty20 debut for Nevis against Montserrat in the 2008 edition of the Stanford 20/20 competition. [2] Aged 17 at the time of the match,he did not bat or bowl during the game,and was not selected for Nevis' fixture in the second round of the tournament. [3] Having represented the Leewards under-19s team in the 2009 West Indies Under-19 Challenge,Bolan was one of two Nevisians selected in the West Indies under-19s squad for the 2010 ICC Under-19 World Cup,held in New Zealand. [4] Taking five wickets from his three matches at the tournament, [5] he was sponsored by the Nevis branch of the Caribbean Development Bank, [6] and also received equipment from the Government of Saint Kitts and Nevis. [7]
With the West Indies under-19s included in the 2009–10 WICB President's Cup,Bolan played a single List A match for the team during the competition,taking 1/20 against Barbados. [8] Although remaining active for Nevis in regional competitions,Bolan did not again play representative cricket until the 2011–12 season,when he was named in the Leeward Islands' squad for the first-class Regional Four Day Competition. [9] He went on to play three matches for the side during the season. [10] Bolan made his first-class debut against Guyana,and took 4/43 in the side's second innings,bowling alongside Gavin Tonge. [11] He failed to take a wicket in his second match,which saw the Leewards dismissed for a record low score of 39 all out,with Combined Campuses and Colleges winning by an innings and 15 runs. [12] Bolan played one further match in the 2011–12 season,with Jamaica defeating the Leewards by an innings and 201 runs. [13] The following season,he only participated in the Leewards' final match of the season,taking two wickets against the Windward Islands, [14] although he also played a limited-overs match for the team later in the season. [8]
Gavin Courtney Tonge is a West Indian cricketer. He is a right-arm fast-medium bowler and has represented the West Indies cricket team in One Day International and Test cricket,as well as playing first-class cricket for Antigua and Leeward Islands.
Kieran Omar Akeem Powell is a Nevisian sportsman who has played international cricket for the West Indies. He is a left-handed opening batsman.
Leonard Alphonso Harris was a West Indian cricketer who played for the Leeward Islands between 1958 and 1971. An opening batsman for much of his career,and occasional bowler in his final seasons,Harris played in West Indian first class cricket,as well as facing the MCC team,England and Australia during his career. He played 27 matches,scoring nearly 1,400 runs at 29.04,including a century,and taking 15 wickets at 19.46. He then went on to play lower-level cricket for St. Kitts until 1976,and helped create the first cricket academy in the Leeward Islands.
Darren Michael Bravo is a Trinidadian Cricketer who plays international cricket for the West Indies. A left-handed batsman,his batting style has drawn comparisons with Brian Lara. Bravo is the younger half brother of fellow West Indies cricketer Dwayne Bravo and his mother is the first cousin of former cricketer Brian Lara.

David Parry was a Nevisian cricketer who played a single match for the Leeward Islands during the 1958 season. Little is known of Parry's life,other than that he originated from the town of Cotton Ground in Saint Thomas Lowland Parish. Having previously represented Nevis cricket team in several inter-island matches,he first played for the Leeward Islands in a match against the touring Pakistanis in February 1958. Parry's only match at first-class level came in July of the same year,in a match against Jamaica held at Melbourne Park,Kingston. Although usually considered an all-rounder,he scored a pair batted in the lower order during both innings of the match,and failed to take a wicket. Parry's nephew,Derick Parry,later played for the West Indies at both Test and One Day International (ODI) level.

Raphael Hugh Oswald Wallace is a former Nevisian cricketer who played several matches with the Leeward Islands in West Indian domestic cricket. From Charlestown,the island's capital and largest town,Wallace regularly represented Nevis in inter-island matches,playing from the late 1970s through to the late 1980s. A right-arm fast bowler,he made his first-class debut for the Leewards during the 1979–80 season,in the semi-annual matches against the Windward Islands. In the match,played at the Antigua Recreation Ground,Wallace took 2/33 in the Windwards' first innings,but in the second innings went wicketless,also scoring six runs without losing his wicket. He did not play any further matches at first-class level,but several seasons later played twice for the team in the limited-overs Geddes Grant/Harrison Line Trophy. Wallace took a single wicket in a match against Barbados in February 1984,and two wickets against the same team just over a year later,opening the bowling with Conrad Bartlette. His brother,Leon Claxton,also played representative cricket for Nevis,and his son,Philo Wallace,currently plays for Nevisian under-age teams.
Joseph Junior Williams is a Nevisian cricketer who has played two Twenty20 matches for Nevis. Born on the island,Williams represented the Leeward Islands under-15 team at the 2004–05 West Indies Under-15 Tournament,playing five matches as a left-arm orthodox spinner. Aged 18,he went on to play both matches for Nevis in the 2008 edition of the Stanford 20/20 competition,which featured 21 teams from around the Caribbean region. In the first match,against Montserrat,Williams conceded 21 runs from his two overs without taking a wicket,and in the second match,against Jamaica,he conceded 17 runs from three overs,again without taking a wicket. Williams did not get an opportunity to bat in either match,which were to be the last two matches played by Nevis at Twenty20 level. However,later in 2008,he did go on to play two matches against the touring Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC),for a Nevis under-19 side and a Nevis "Pro XI".
Joel McKenzie Simmonds is a former Nevisian cricketer who played for the Leeward Islands in West Indian domestic cricket. He was a wicket-keeper and right-handed batsman.
Rahkeem Rashawn Shane Cornwall is an Antiguan cricketer. A right-arm off-break bowler,Cornwall has played for Leeward Islands cricket team and featured in the line-up for the Antigua Hawksbills in the Caribbean Premier League. In August 2019,Cricket West Indies named him as the Championship Player of the Year. Later the same month,he made his international debut for the West Indies cricket team. He also set the record for the heaviest cricketer to play Test cricket,weighing more than 140 kg. For the Leewards Islands,he is their second highest wicket-taker in both First Class and List A cricket,while only Kieran Powell has scored more than his four List A hundreds for the side.

He was the first player to be dismissed hit-wicket twice in consecutive Tests and the first to be dismissed hit-wicket on test debut.
