Nemai Ghosh (born 12 December 1939) is an Indian former cricketer. He played eleven first-class matches for Bengal between 1958 and 1966. [1]

The story revolved around a group of farmers from East Pakistan who were forced to migrate to Calcutta because of the partition of Bengal in 1947. Russian film director Vsevolod Pudovkin came to Calcutta at that time, watched this film, and being inspired, he bought the print of this film to release in Russia. The film was shown in 188 theaters in Russia.
