Mungaru Male is a 2006 Indian Kannada-language romantic drama film co-written and directed by Yogaraj Bhat, and produced by E. Krishnappa. It stars Ganesh, Pooja Gandhi and Anant Nag. The film is believed to have shaped and strengthened the careers of Ganesh; Pooja Gandhi; director Yograj Bhat; lyricist Jayant Kaikini, choreographers A. Chaali Polilu is the longest running film in Tulu film industry. This movie is the highest-grossing film in the Tulu film industry. It has successfully completed 470 days at PVR Cinemas in Mangalore.
Nirel (transl. Shadow) is a Tulu-language film directed by Ranjith Bajpe and produced jointly by Shodhan Prasad and San Poojary, starring Anoop Sagar, Varuna Shetty, Deepthi, Sachin Padil, Deepak Paladka. This will be the first film produced overseas and shot completely in Gulf Region. The film is based on the Kannada Script "Nadu Naduve" by Karthik Gowda and later converted to Tulu by Ranjith Bajpe. Karthik Gowda also wrote the screenplay for the movie, and dialogues written by Ranjith Bajpe. Cast for the movie was totally selected by an audition at Fortune Grand Hotel Dubai. The people behind "Nirel" is a group of four friends, San Poojary, Ranjith Bajpe, Rajneesh Amin and Sachin Padil.

Dil Rangeela is a 2014 Indian Kannada-language romantic comedy film directed and scripted by Preetham Gubbi. The film stars Ganesh, Rachita Ram and Priyanka Rao. K. Manju produced the film under his production banner K. Manju Cinemaas. The film marks the return of Ganesh and Gubbi together after their previous film Maleyali Jotheyali (2009). The original score and soundtrack for the movie were produced by Arjun Janya.

It was a commercial success at the box office by collecting over ₹20 crore in its lifetime theatrical run.

Eregla Panodchi is jointly produced under the banner of Kodlu Creations by B.L. Murali and S.K. Shetty. This is 25th film directed by Kodlu Ramakrishna, who directed Kannada and Tulu movies too.
Pilibail Yamunakka is a Tulu language film directed by K Sooraj Shetty, starring Pruthvi ambaar, Sonal Monteiro, Naveen D Padil in lead roles. The movie has been produced by Rohan Shetty under the banner of Lakumi Cine Creations. Audio launch of this film was held on 19 June 2016. The movie released on 9 December 2016. This film successfully completed 168 days. Mangalore's Hip hop singer and rapper YemZii was also first introduced in this movie. He rapped in Tulu and English in a song called "Kaar baar Jorundu" featuring Nakash Aziz.
