El Nuevo Día is the newspaper with the largest circulation in Puerto Rico. It was founded in 1909 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and today it is a subsidiary of GFR Media. Its headquarters are in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.
El Vocero de Puerto Rico is a Puerto Rican free newspaper that is published in San Juan. Published since 1974, El Vocero was at first the third of the four largest Puerto Rico newspapers, trailing El Mundo and El Nuevo Día and leading El Reportero and The San Juan Star in sales. With the temporary demise in the late 1980s of El Mundo, El Vocero became even more popular, becoming the island's largest newspaper by 1994. From 1985 to 2013 it was owned by Caribbean International News Corp. The owners of Caribbean International News Corp, and therefore owners of El Vocero, were Elliot Stein, I. Martin Pompadur and The Henry Crown Co.

Isla Verde is an area of Carolina located east of Santurce next to Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport above the Teodoro Moscoso Bridge. The group is lead since its inception by Chief Executive Officer and Editor in Chief Heiko Faass and employs approximately 200 persons.
Farmacias El Amal, was a regional pharmacy chain operating throughout Puerto Rico. At its peak, it operated more than 78 pharmacies across Puerto Rico. The chain was privately held and was founded in 1973.
The San Juan-Caguas Rail project, currently named NOVOTRÉN, will link the Puerto Rican cities of San Juan and Caguas through a "regional rail network". The plan was announced by the Mayor of Caguas, William Miranda Marín, along with former governor Aníbal Acevedo Vilá on March 9, 2007. The agreement signed creates a public-private society between three parties: the central government, the city council and a regional partnership; it entails an investment of $200 million by the central government through the Government Bank of Development. The total cost of the project is estimated at between $375 million and $400 million.
The Teodoro Moscoso Bridge is a bridge in Puerto Rico. It works as an extension of PR-17, also known as the Jesus T. Piñero Expressway, connecting this road with the Román Baldorioty de Castro Expressway (PR-26). It crosses the San José Lagoon thereby linking sectors of Rio Piedras in San Juan to Isla Verde Carolina neighbor. The bridge has become the new entrance to the Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport. It was opened on February 28, 1994 under the administration of Governor Pedro Rosselló, this construction being the first to be held under a Public Private Partnership in Puerto Rico. The bridge consists of four lanes, electronic signs, a toll plaza with a fee of $3.65 in each direction,. The bridge has flagpoles on both sides with alternating American and Puerto Rican flags, as of July 2019. The bridge accepts AutoExpreso, Puerto Rico's toll transponder system.
The Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company (PRIDCO) —Spanish: Compañía de Fomento Industrial de Puerto Rico — is a government-owned corporation of Puerto Rico authorized and empowered to induce private capital into Puerto Rico in order to establish trade, cooperatives, and industrial operations in Puerto Rico. Melinda Kathleen Romero Donnelly is a Puerto Rican politician, and former senator and Representative for the New Progressive Party (PNP). She is the youngest daughter of former Governor of Puerto Rico Carlos Romero Barceló and Kate de Romero. "Mister Puerto Rico" is the common name or sash used to identify a Puerto Rican representative in an international male beauty pageant. Several organizations have held annual male pageants in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Currently, Mister Puerto Rico Model and Mister Puerto Rico Teenager are the most important male beauty pageant event. Each year both events are held to select the representatives from the island.
The Puerto Rico Electric Power Authority was an electric power company owned by the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico responsible for electricity generation, power distribution, and power transmission on the island. PREPA was the only entity authorized to conduct such business in Puerto Rico, making it a government monopoly, until on January 22, 2018, then-governor of Puerto Rico, Ricardo Rossello, announced that all assets of the company will be sold in a general privatization of PREPA.

Manuel Natal Albelo is a former member of the 29th House of Representatives of Puerto Rico. Natal is currently affiliated with the Citizen's Victory Movement party after being previously affiliated with the Popular Democratic Party and a legal advisor for Charlie Hernández, another member of the House, before becoming a legislator. He was a member of the free association movement, colloquially known as soberanistas. Elected at the age of 27, Natal is one of the youngest legislators in the history of Puerto Rico and was the youngest legislator to serve at the time of his election. He was the Movimiento Victoria Ciudadana party's nominee in the 2020 San Juan mayoral election, which he lost to senator Miguel Romero of the New Progressive Party.
Porta Cordillera is a land-locked tourism region in the central mountainous region of Puerto Rico. It consists of 16 municipalities in the south central zone: Aguas Buenas, Cidra, Cayey, Comerío, Aibonito, Naranjito, Barranquitas, Corozal, Orocovis, Morovis, Ciales, Jayuya, Florida, Utuado, Adjuntas and Lares.
