Nibe Municipality ceased to exit on January 1, 2007 due to Kommunalreformen ("The Municipality Reform" of 2007). It was merged with Hals Municipality, Sejlflod Municipality and Aalborg Municipality to form the new Aalborg Municipality.
The former municipality covered an area of 185 km2, and had a total population of 8,283 (2005). Its last mayor was Jens Østergaard Madsen, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party.
Aalborg Municipality is a municipality in North Jutland Region on the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark. The municipality straddles the Limfjord, the waterway which connects the North Sea and the Kattegat east-to-west, and which separates the main body of the Jutland peninsula from the island of Vendsyssel-Thy north-to-south. It has a land area of 1,143.99 km2 (441.70 sq mi) and a population of 222,571.

The municipality covered an area of 191 km², and had a total population of 11,448 (2005). Its last mayor was Bent Sørensen, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party. Though Hals was the biggest town, the site of its municipal council was the town of Gandrup since the location was more central. Other towns in Hals Municipality were Vester Hassing, Ulsted and Hou and some minor villages Stae, Øster Hassing, Holtet, Gåser and Ålebæk.
Hobro is an old market and railway town in Region Nordjylland on the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark. It has a population of 12,191. The town is situated in a hilly terrain at the head of Mariager Fjord, close to the former Viking fortress of Fyrkat. It is the seat of Mariagerfjord municipality.
Sejlflod Municipality was a municipality in the former North Jutland County on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in northern Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 208 km2, and had a total population of 9,394 (2005). Its last mayor was Kristian Schnoor, a member of the Social Democrats (Socialdemokraterne) political party. The main town and site of its municipal council was the town of Storvorde, ca. 12 kilometers east of Aalborg city center. Just south of Storvorde is the small town named Sejlflod which named the municipality. To the east is Ålborg Bay.
The North Jutland Region, or in some official sources, the North Denmark Region, is an administrative region of Denmark established on 1 January 2007 as part of the 2007 Danish municipal reform, which abolished the traditional counties and set up five larger regions. At the same time, smaller municipalities were merged into larger units, cutting the number of municipalities from 271 before 1 January 2006, when Ærø Municipality was created, to 98. North Jutland Region has 11 municipalities. The reform diminished the power of the regional level dramatically in favor of the local level and the central government in Copenhagen.

The Almen Kirkegård in Aalborg, Denmark. is located in serene and green surroundings. Located in Hasserisgade, it is one of the three cemeteries of the Aalborg Municipality; the other two are the Southern Cemetery at Blomstermarken and the Eastern Cemetery at Filstedvej. The Concert Hall Park is a public park in central Aarhus, Denmark. The park is laid out in front of the Aarhus Concert Hall main entrances in the Indre By neighborhood of the inner city. It is bordered by the street Frederiks Allé to the east, Thomas Jensen's Allé to the south and Vester Allé to the north, behind the historic buildings of the former Vester Allés Barracks. The park is named after the Aarhus Concert Hall which is situated prominently immediately west of the park. The Concert Hall Park forms a center-point between some of the most prominent buildings in the city, the ARoS Aarhus Art Museum, Vester Allé Barracks, the concert halls, and Aarhus City Hall in view behind the City Hall Park across Frederiks Allé. The Concert Hall Park was designed by the landscape architect Sven Hansen as a parterre garden, and it was established in the 1980s.
