Nick Constantine Maniatty better known by his mononym Nicco is an American recording artist with pop, Europop, dance, reggae, house and electronic influences. He was signed to Sony in April 2011 and released his debut single "Downpour" in August 2011. [1] His continuous growing success in the Euro-dance scene led to his international hit "Party Shaker" with R.I.O. that made it to the Top Ten in Austria, [2] Germany [3] and Switzerland [4] and became a Top 40 hit in both France [5] and the Netherlands. [6]
Nicco was influenced from a very young age with reggae music while spending summers working in St. John U.S. Virgin Islands where his family lives. After collaborating with European dance producers, he became popular with European night clubs, particularly after collaborating with a number of European artists, most notably with Austrian DJs Darius & Finlay starting 2009 appearing in a number of mixes and recordings and making an impact in Austria and Germany with recordings like "Do It All Night" and "Destination" released by Trak Music and "Rock to the Beat", "Hold On" and "Till Morning" released by Sony Germany. He also collaborated with Polish producer and DJ Robert M. in "Dance Hall Track" that was a hit in Poland and was certified gold. He came back in 2012 with a new version of "Do It All Night" with Darius & Finlay featuring Zimbabwe-born German rapper Carlprit and Nicco. Nicco recently collaborated with R.I.O, as the voice of "Party Shaker", R.I.O.feat. Nicco, allowing him to broaden his international presence.
Nicco molded his craft over the years and during his studies at Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts. He moved to Queens, New York where he was singing and performing Dance-hall Reggae and Soca music in many of the well known Caribbean clubs in Brooklyn, New York. In the past 10 years Nicco has used his reggae influences to fuse both his vocals and rough chanting to formulate a new sound.

Rudi Schwamborn, professionally known as Carlprit, is a German-Zimbabwean rapper, songwriter, and music manager. He has performed and written for acts such as Cascada, Alexandra Stan and Laurent Wolf. Schwamborn is best known for his song "Fiesta" as well as his appearance in Cascada's 2009 hit single "Evacuate the Dancefloor". The title sold over three million copies worldwide and reached the top 20 on Billboard charts, making Carlprit the first person of Zimbabwean origin to have a song on the top U.S. Billboard charts.
Luís Filipe Fraga Oliveira, better known by his stage name Lucenzo, is a French reggaeton recording artist and record producer. His parents emigrated to France, from Portugal. Lucenzo, when began his singing career, signed with the Universal Music record label, to which he is still today. He is best known for his dance hit with rapper Big Ali, "Vem dançar Kuduro". Puerto Rican reggaeton artist Don Omar released a Spanish/Portuguese version of the song under the title "Danza Kuduro" with Lucenzo.
"Loca" is a song by Dominican singer, El Cata. It achieved mainstream success by Colombian singer-songwriter Shakira, who recorded a cover taken from her ninth studio album, Sale el Sol (2010). It was released by Epic Records as the lead single from the album. The Spanish-language version features Dominican rapper El Cata, and was released on 10 September 2010, while the English-language version features British rapper Dizzee Rascal, and was released on 13 September 2010. It was written and produced by Shakira, with additional songwriting from Edward Bello, Armando Pérez, and Dylan Mills. The song is a Latin pop and merengue track that lyrically describes Shakira's eccentric infatuation with a man. In August 2014, a senior US district judge found "Loca" to have been indirectly plagiarised from "Loca con su Tiguere", a mid-1990s song composed by Dominican songwriter Ramon "Arias" Vasquez. The case was dismissed in August 2015 after it was found that Vasquez had fabricated the evidence he had presented in court.
Original Me is the fourth studio album from German eurodance group Cascada, first released on 17 June 2011. Recording sessions for the album took place from 2009 to 2011 at Plazmatek Studio, Yanou Studio 1. The entire album, like their previous albums, was produced by the two DJs from Cascada, Yanou and DJ Manian. The album’s genre follows in the footsteps of the preceding album, Evacuate the Dancefloor, completely shifting away from the uptempo eurodance, containing electropop songs that are influenced by urban contemporary and pop music. Musically, the album is composed of electro-infused dance tracks with thick euro synths, cymbal crashing beats and Europop lyrics. Lyrically, the album, like the preceding albums, is composed of songs about love, dancing, and relationships.
Saxobeats is the debut studio album recorded by Romanian singer and songwriter Alexandra Stan, released on 29 August 2011 by Play On Records. It was mainly written and produced by Marcel Prodan and Andrei Nemirschi, who recorded it at their Maan Studio. They had previously discovered the singer at a karaoke bar and offered her a record deal with their own label, Maan Records. Same year she released a promotional single, "Show Me the Way", through the label which was later included on Saxobeats. The music on the album overall approaches genres of hi-NRG and dance music. "Lollipop " features a sample of American singer Fergie's 2006 single "Fergalicious". The record received mixed reviews from music reviewers, praising it for approaching a danceable style, but also criticizing its formulaic production.
R.I.O. is a German dance music band. The members are Yann Peifer and DJ Manian, who originally founded the band in 2007. Until 2012, Tony T. was part of the band. Their biggest hit was the song "Turn This Club Around", which charted in the top 5 in Germany and Austria and at number one in Switzerland.
