Nicholas Grainger (born 3 October 1994) is an English freestyle swimmer representing Great Britain at the FINA World Aquatics Championships. He has won two gold medals as part of a relay team at the World Championships.
Grainger was born on 3 October 1994 in Rotherham, England. [1] He studied at Sheffield Hallam University. [2]
Grainger competed for City of Sheffield before being selected for the national team. He first competed in an international in the 2014 Commonwealth Games held in Glasgow, but only finished eighth in the 200m freestyle due to a back injury that affected his training before the games. [3]
In 2015, Grainger qualified for the World Championships after finishing second in the final of the 400m freestyle at the British Swimming Championships. [4] At the 2015 World Aquatics Championships, he failed to qualified for the 400m freestyle final, but he was part of team that won gold in the Men's 4 × 200m freestyle relay. He swam in the heats but not in the final. [5]
At the 2017 World Aquatics Championships, Grainger won gold in the 4x200m freestyle with James Guy, Stephen Milne and Duncan Scott. [6]
At the 2018 Commonwealth Games held in the Gold Coast, Australia, Grainger was part of the team that won silver in the 4x200 m freestyle. [7]

William Ashley Kirby is an Australian swimmer who was competitive on an international level in the nineties and early 2000s. Daniel Wallace is a retired Scottish swimmer who has represented Great Britain in the Olympic Games and FINA world championships, and Scotland in the Commonwealth Games. The 2014 Commonwealth Games champion at 400 metre individual medley, he was part of the Great Britain 4 x 200 metre freestyle relay team that won gold at the 2015 FINA World Aquatics Championships, and silver at the same event at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
James Guy is an English competitive swimmer who has represented Great Britain in the Olympic Games, the FINA World Championships and the LEN European championships, and England in the Commonwealth Games. Guy specialises in the 400- and 200-metre freestyle, and the 100-metre butterfly.

Duncan William MacNaughton Scott is a British swimmer representing Great Britain at the FINA World Aquatics Championships and the Olympic Games, and Scotland at the Commonwealth Games. An all-rounder in the pool, Scott has swum internationally in 100 and 200 metres freestyle and butterly, and 200 metres individual medley. He has won two golds at the World Championships in 4 x 200 metre freestyle relay, a gold in the 4 x 100 metre medley relay, as well as silvers at the World Championships and Olympics in freestyle and medley relay. Individually, Scott was the 100 metre freestyle champion at the 2015 European Games and 2018 Commonwealth Games, and the 200 metre freestyle champion at the same European Games and the 2018 European Aquatics Championships.

Taylor Madison Ruck is a Canadian competitive swimmer. She won two Olympic bronze medals as part of Canada's women's 4×100 metre and 4×200 metre freestyle relay teams at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Ruck won eight medals at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in Gold Coast, Australia. Her eight medal performance of one gold, five silver, and two bronze tied her with three other athletes for the most all-time at a single Commonwealth Games, as well as making her the most decorated Canadian female athlete ever at a single Commonwealth Games. Ruck is the all-time leading medallist at the FINA World Junior Swimming Championships having won nine gold, two silver, and two bronze over the course of the 2015 World Junior Swimming Championships and 2017 junior championships.

Freya Anderson is a British swimmer, known primarily for her achievements as a freestyle sprinter. Freya has achieved seven gold medals, and three bronze medals at the European Championships, including 5 golds and a bronze in a single meet at the 2020 Championships in Budapest, as well as two bronze medals at the Commonwealth Games and a bronze at the 2019 World Aquatics Championships.
