Nick Cearley [1] [2] is an American actor, [3] [4] musician, singer, and dancer. A Fairfield, Ohio native, Cearley received his BFA from the Boston Conservatory for Musical Theatre with an emphasis in acting. He currently resides in New York City. Best known as one half of the critically acclaimed Indie-Pop Duo, The Skivvies. [5] OUT Magazine selected Cearley on its OUT 100 List of 2014 [6] as one of the most intriguing and compelling LGBT Actors of the year. He has performed in several shows such as in the 1st National Tour of All Shook Up , [7] Buyer and Cellar at Bucks County, [8] The Rocky Horror Show , [9] and Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man Off-Broadway. [10] Cearley most recently performed as Seymour in the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park production of Little Shop Of Horrors . [11]

Little Shop of Horrors is a horror comedy rock musical with music by Alan Menken and lyrics and a book by Howard Ashman. The story follows a hapless florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood and flesh. The musical is loosely based on the low-budget 1960 black comedy film The Little Shop of Horrors. The music, composed by Menken in the style of early 1960s rock and roll, doo-wop and early Motown, includes several well-known tunes, including the title song, "Skid Row (Downtown)", "Somewhere That's Green", and "Suddenly, Seymour".

Christian Borle American actor

Christian Dominique Borle is an American actor and singer. He is a two-time Tony Award winner for his roles as Black Stache in Peter and the Starcatcher and as William Shakespeare in Something Rotten!. Borle originated the role of Emmett in Legally Blonde on Broadway, starred as Tom Levitt on the NBC musical-drama television series Smash, and starred as Marvin in the 2016 Broadway revival of Falsettos.

Lauren Molina American actress

Lauren Molina is an American actress, singer, songwriter, and musician. She is a co-creator and performer with the comedy-pop, undie-rock band The Skivvies. Her Broadway credits include Johanna in the actor-musician revival of Sweeney Todd. To describe her as an actress, one reviewer said "She's part Mary Martin, Lucille Ball, Kristen Wiig and [fill in the blank with your favorite opera star because Molina has one of the most powerful and flexible voices in the annals of Broadway]." While performing on the first national tour of Sweeney Todd, she received the Independent Reviewers of New England (IRNE) Award for Best Supporting Actress. She won a Helen Hayes award for her portrayal of Cunegunde in Candide (2010-2011), directed by Mary Zimmerman at the Shakespeare Theatre in DC, and received an IRNE nomination for the same role at the Huntington Theatre. She originated the role of Bella Rose in Desperate Measures (2017-2018) Off-Broadway and received nominations for the Lucille Lortel Award for Outstanding Actress in a Musical and Outer Critics Circle for Best Supporting Actress. In 2019, she and her Skivvies partner Nick Cearley co-conceived a new actor-musician revival of "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown", also playing Lucy and Linus, at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park. A Detroit native, Lauren received her BFA from the University of Michigan in musical theatre. She resides in New York City.

George Salazar American actor, singer, and musician (born 1986)

George Ernest Salazar is an American actor, singer, and musician who is originally from Kissimmee, Florida. He lives in Los Angeles and is known for his work on and off-Broadway. He most recently appeared in Pasadena Playhouse's production of Little Shop of Horrors as Seymour Krelborn and as Eric Sosa in NBC's Superstore.

Kathryn Allison is a Broadway actor and a singer. Allison won the New York Musical Theatre Festival's Next Big Broadway Sensation contest in 2014. Run by the festival and New World Stages, the contest featured 200 singers.

<i>A Bronx Tale</i> (musical) musical based on the play by the same name

A Bronx Tale is a musical based on the play by the same name with a book by Chazz Palminteri, music by Alan Menken, and lyrics by Glenn Slater. After a ten-year development process, the original one man show was adapted into a new musical and premiered at the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey on February 4, 2016, before opening on Broadway December 1 later that year.

The Skivvies are Nick Cearley and Lauren Molina, American singer/musician/actors, who perform "stripped down" arrangements of popular songs, and original tunes while stripping down to their underwear. They have had residencies at several venues including 54 Below, 42 West, Highline Ballroom and Joe's Pub. They have reviews from established publishers in The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, People, Playbill, Theatermania, OUT Magazine, The New York Post and Sports Illustrated.
