Nick Palumbo (born November 12, 1970) is an American film director, screenwriter and producer best known for the controversial 2004 film Murder-Set-Pieces.
Palumbo's film Murder-Set-Pieces was released to theatres on December 24, 2004. Rotten Tomatoes reported that 36% of 11 reviews for the film were positive, with an average rating of 3.7/10. Fortitude is a British horror psychological thriller television series created and written by Simon Donald. A 12-episode season was commissioned by Sky Atlantic in 2013, and started airing on 29 January 2015. The series is set in the fictional Arctic Norwegian settlement of Fortitude. On 9 April 2015, Sky Atlantic recommissioned the show for a second season consisting of 10 episodes, which premiered on 26 January 2017. The Fear of 13 is a 2015 British documentary film by David Sington. It tells the story of the American, Nick Yarris, who was convicted and sentenced to capital punishment for a 1981 kidnapping, rape and murder, and spent 22 years on death row in Pennsylvania. Yarris was released in 2004 when DNA evidence established his innocence. A stage play based on the documentary, written by Lindsey Ferrentino and starring Adrien Brody as Yarris, debuts October 4, 2024, at the Donmar Warehouse in London.
