Nico Delgado is an American political activist and the founder and chairman of NicoPAC, a political action committee focused on electing Republican candidates across Arizona. [1] In 2022, Delgado started volunteering for candidates running for office in Arizona. Later that year, he became the spokesman for the North Valley Young Republicans, a satellite club of the Arizona Young Republicans[ citation needed ].
In 2023, Delgado was elected chairman of the Arizona chapter of Teenage Republicans and remained at the helm of leadership until the following year. [2] In March, he declined to run for re-election. In mid-2024, Delgado formed the political action committee NicoPAC focused on helping state and local candidates. The PAC gained notoriety through the misleading messaging it used to maintain Republican seats and flip Democratic-held ones. Delgado is also an intern for Congressman Abe Hamadeh. [3] On February 21, 2025, Delgado was appointed as a Youth Advisor to the Arizona Republican Party. [4]
He was included in the Arizona Daily Independent's "30 Under 30" list in April 2025. [4]
For the 2024 cycle, NicoPAC invested into several races in Arizona ranging from school board to county level and State Legislature. It reported donations of $830.32 within the year, with most of the money donated coming from out of state. [5] Signs used by the PAC falsely claimed that Democratic officeholders were connected to Jeffrey Epstein, and that they voted "against prosecuting sex crimes against minors". [3] The PAC won 14 of the 17 races it was involved in. In 2023, Delgado worked with State Legislators to propose House Concurrent Resolution 2004, the "Arizona Civic Participation Act," which would have lowered the qualifying age to run for the Arizona State Legislature from 25 to 18. [8]
In 2025, Delgado worked with State Representative Nick Kupper on a bill to exempt minors earning less than $50,000 from the state income tax. [9]
