Nicola Di Sanza (born January 27, 1990) is an Italian footballer playing with asd Corleto perticara in the Promozione. [1]

Playing career

Di Sanza played in Serie D with F.C. Francavilla in 2008. [2] In 2012, he played with A.S.D. Real Metapontino in the Eccellenza. [3] He played abroad in the Canadian Soccer League with the York Region Shooters. [4] He returned home in 2014 to play with ASD Rotunda Maris in the Promozione. [5] [6] He returned to the Canadian Soccer League for the 2015 season. [7]

In 2016, he was transferred to Atlántico FC in the Liga Dominicana de Fútbol, where he played in the 2016 CFU Club Championship. [8] Shortly after his contract was terminated he returned to the York Region Shooters for the remainder of the 2016 season. [9] In 2017, he returned home to play with Santarcangiese, and in 2018 was signed by Paternicum. [10]

The 2014 season was York Region Shooters's 17th season in the Canadian Soccer League. It began on May 25, 2014 and concluded on October 26 2014. The club ended the Canadian Soccer League campaign as champions without a single defeat – a record of 13 wins and 5 draws. Their perfect season also included the First Division title with York Region finishing eleven points ahead of Toronto Croatia. In the preliminary round of the postseason the club defeated Brampton City United. In the second round they defeated Astros Vasas FC, and Toronto Croatia in the CSL Championship final. For the second consecutive season striker Richard West finished as the club's top goalscorer with nine goals.

The 2015 season was York Region Shooters's 18th season in the Canadian Soccer League. It began on May 10, 2015 and concluded on October 18, 2015. York Region entered the season as reigning CSL champions after producing a perfect season in the previous campaign. After a difficult start to the season York Region managed to recover midway through the season, and secured a postseason berth. In the playoffs the Shooters won the opening match, but failed to successfully defend their championship title following a defeat to Toronto Croatia. While Richard West finished for the third consecutive season as the club's top goalscorer with 23 goals, and subsequently as the league's CSL Golden Boot winner.

The 2016 season was York Region Shooters's 19th season in the Canadian Soccer League. It began on May 29, 2016 and concluded on October 23, 2016. The club finished the regular season with the First Division title with a new defensive club record. The organization qualified for the playoffs for the 14th consecutive season, and secured a victory in the preliminary round against Milton SC. In the semifinal York Region was eliminated from the competition in a penalty shootout to Hamilton City SC.
