Nicola Jane Reynolds (born 26 July 1972, Pontypridd) is a Cardiff-based Welsh actress. [1]
After appearing in the 1999 film Human Traffic, she appeared in a series of jobbing roles, including Clocking Off [2] and High Hopes . Reynolds also appeared in Scrum 4 as Meg. [3] She made her public break through in the children's CBBC show The Story of Tracy Beaker as head care worker Shelley Appleton. [1] She appeared as Ros in Abi Morgans' BAFTA winning series "Murder" for the BBC, alongside Julie Walters, playing her daughter. During this period, she also became part of an ensemble around comedian turned actor Johnny Vegas. She has starred alongside him in Sex Lives of the Potato Men [4] and on BBC Three's Ideal . [5] In 2009, Reynolds also acted in a BBC1 Film Drama Framed, playing Bethan Hughes, a Welsh mother of four. [6] In October 2013, Reynolds appeared in the BBC One's daytime soap opera Doctors , playing Dr. Robyn Pattison, a doctor in Letherbridge for a conference and has a fling with Dr. Heston Carter. [7] In the last several years, she has returned to theatre in a number of successful touring productions.

Paul Julian Whitehouse is a Welsh actor, writer, presenter and comedian. He was one of the main stars of the BBC sketch comedy series The Fast Show, and has starred with Harry Enfield in the shows Harry & Paul and Harry Enfield & Chums. Doctors is a British medical soap opera, first broadcast on BBC One on 26 March 2000. Filmed in Birmingham and set in the fictional West Midlands town of Letherbridge, the soap follows the lives of the staff of both an NHS doctor's surgery and a university campus surgery, as well as the lives of their families and friends. Initially, only 41 episodes of the programme were ordered, but due to the positive reception, the BBC ordered it as a continuing soap opera. Doctors was filmed at the Pebble Mill Studios until 2004; production then relocated to the BBC Drama Village, where it filmed until 2024. Episodes are filmed three months prior to transmission. The soap is typically broadcast on weekdays at 1:45 pm on BBC One, as well as having classic episodes broadcast on Drama. It takes three annual transmission breaks across the year: at Easter, during the summer and at Christmas.
