Nik & Jay is a Danish hip-hop/pop duo made of Niclas Genckel Petersen (born 8 November 1980 in Herlev) and Jannik Brandt Thomsen (born 16 June 1981).

Contents

Their #2 single "Hot!" won them Hit of the Year and Best New Artist at the Danish Music Awards in 2003. Other hits have included "En Dag Tilbage" (One Day Left), "Lækker" (Hot), "Kan Du Høre Hende Synge?" (Can you hear her sing?) and "Boing!".

They released a CD and DVD of their concert tour from 2003.

The single "Boing!" and the album, 3: Fresh - Fri - Fly have given them even more success and a bigger variety of ages among the fans.

Nik and Jay played soccer together in Værløse, Denmark during their youth. Nik sang in a punk band and rollerbladed while Jay was a prominent skateboarder. They began to party together then eventually began to produce music.

Malte Fynboe Manniche Ebert, better known by his former nickname Gulddreng, is a Danish musician. His identity was unknown until the father of his host family from an exchange trip announced his name on Facebook. His name translates to "gold boy" or "golden boy" in English. As Gulddreng, Ebert was known for always wearing sunglasses, which helped to obscure his identity. His first seven singles, "Model", "Se mig nu", "Hva' så", "Drikker for lidt", "Nemt", "Guld jul" and "Ked af det", all peaked at number 1 in Denmark, with "Se mig nu", "Drikker for lidt", "Guld jul", and "Ked af det" debuting at the top spot.

MellemFingaMuzik is a Danish hip-hop group, consisting of rappers Stepz and Branco. The duo started publishing materials in late 2011, after which they joined the Danish record label HideOut that also had signed up rappers Jooks and Sivas. When HideOut closed, MellemFingaMuzik started a collaboration with the newly formed label Grounded. They also teamed up with Benny Jamz and Gilli, from the B.O.C. collective, and all formed the common front and collective known as the Molotov Movement.
