Nikhil Bernard (born 30 December 1989) is an Indian professional footballer who last played as a goalkeeper for Chennaiyin FC in the Indian Super League. [1]
Born in Bangalore, Karnataka, Bernard started his career with Royal Wahingdoh F.C. of the Shillong Premier League and I-League 2nd Division. [2] In 2014, he helped Wahingdoh to promotion to the I-League. [2]
He made his professional debut for the side on 28 December 2014 in the Federation Cup against Mumbai. [3]
On 2 February 2016, he signed for the home town club Bengaluru FC. [4]
After brief stint with Bengaluru FC, Bernard joined newly formed Bengaluru based I-League 2nd division club, Ozone FC.

Shillong Lajong Football Club is an Indian professional football club, based in Shillong, Meghalaya, that competes in the Shillong Premier League. The club was established in 1983 with the prime objective of improving the declining standard of football in the state, and to spot, train and nurture local talent. In the local Khasi language, Lajong translates to "our own". They have also competed in the I-League, one of the top flights of Indian football.
