Nikolai Ilkov (Bulgarian : Николай Илков) (born February 21, 1955) is a Bulgarian sprint canoer who competed in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He won a bronze medal in the C-2 500 m event at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow.

The People's Republic of Bulgaria was the official name of Bulgaria, when it was a socialist republic that existed from 1946 to 1990 ruled by the Bulgarian Communist Party (BCP), which in turn ruled together with its coalition partner, the Bulgarian Agrarian People's Union. Bulgaria was part of Comecon and a member of the Warsaw Pact and was closely allied with the Soviet Union during the Cold War. The Bulgarian resistance movement during World War II deposed the Kingdom of Bulgaria administration in the Bulgarian coup d'état of 1944 which ended the country's alliance with the Axis powers and led to the People's Republic in 1946.

Bulgaria first participated at the Olympic Games at the inaugural 1896 Games, with a single gymnast. However, since Charles Champaud was a Swiss national living in Sofia, some sources credit his appearance to Switzerland instead.
The Bulgaria women's national volleyball team represents Bulgaria in international women's volleyball competitions and is controlled by the Bulgarian Volleyball Federation. The team's success includes winning the Balkan Championship in 1982, achieving Runners-Up at the 1970 Summer Universidade along with the 1980 Summer Olympics. The National team's biggest success came in 1981, winning the European title at home in Sofia.
Vidbol Glacier is the 5.5 km long and 1.5 km wide glacier on Arctowski Peninsula on Danco Coast in Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula draining the north slopes of Pulfrich Peak. Flowing northwestwards west of Henryk Peak and east of Mount Dedo to enter Gerlache Strait at Orne Harbour.
Djerassi Glacier is a 2.8 km long and 1 km wide steep valley glacier situated south of Gorichane Glacier, west of the head of Malpighi Glacier, northwest of the head of Mackenzie Glacier, and north-northeast of Pirogov Glacier on Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. It drains the west slopes of Harvey Heights and the north slopes of Mount Parry, and flows northwestwards into Lanusse Bay north of Venchan Peak.
Pirogov Glacier is a 5 km long and 1.5 km wide glacier situated south of Djerassi Glacier, west of the head of Mackenzie Glacier and northwest of Balanstra Glacier on Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. It drains the south-southwest slopes of Mount Parry and flows westwards to enter Dallmann Bay south of Minot Point.
Dimkov Glacier is a 6 km long and 4.3 km wide glacier draining the western slopes of Solvay Mountains on Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. It is situated southwest of Rush Glacier and west of Jenner Glacier, and flows southwestwards between Kondolov Peak and Sheynovo Peak to enter Duperré Bay south of Humann Point.
Altimir Glacier is a 4.8-kilometre (3.0 mi) long and 5.5-kilometre (3.4 mi) wide glacier draining the north slopes of the Osterrieth Range on Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. It flows northwards to enter Dalchev Cove in Fournier Bay east of Studena Point.
Kleptuza Glacier is a 6 km long and 6 km wide glacier draining the east slopes of Mount Hector in the Trojan Range and the north slopes of Osterrieth Range on Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. Situated southeast of Thamyris Glacier and west of Altimir Glacier. Flowing northwards to enter Fournier Bay east of Madzharovo Point and west of Studena Point.
Thamyris Glacier is a 3 km long and 2.8 km wide glacier draining the east slopes of the Trojan Range on Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. Situated east of Iliad Glacier, south of Rhesus Glacier and northwest of Kleptuza Glacier. Flowing northeastwards into Fournier Bay south of Predel Point and north of Madzharovo Point.
Rhesus Glacier is a 7 km long and 2.5 km wide glacier draining the east slopes of the Trojan Range on Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica southeast of Paris Peak. Situated east of Iliad Glacier, south of Lipen Glacier and north of Thamyris Glacier. Flowing northeastwards into Fournier Bay south of Thompson Peninsula and north of Predel Point.
Lipen Glacier is a 5 km long and 3.5 km wide glacier draining the east slopes of the Trojan Range on Anvers Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. Situated east of Iliad Glacier and north of Rhesus Glacier. Flowing northeastwards into the head of Patagonia Bay east of Gourdon Peninsula and west of Thompson Peninsula.
Mitev Glacier is the 2.9 km long and 2.5 km wide glacier on Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica situated east of Laennec Glacier. It drains the north slopes of Avroleva Heights and flows northeastwards to enter Hill Bay west of Petroff Point.
Grigorov Glacier is the 1.8 km long and 1.3 km wide glacier on the south side of Stavertsi Ridge on Albena Peninsula, Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. It drains the east slopes of Mount Cabeza and flows southeastwards to enter Hill Bay west of Kostur Point.
Chumerna Glacier is the 2.2 km long and 1.9 km wide glacier draining the north slopes of Stavertsi Ridge on Albena Peninsula, Brabant Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica. It flows northeastwards to enter the channel between Brabant Island and Liège Island east of Hales Peak.
Nadjakov Glacier is the 5.5 km long and 2 km wide glacier on Arctowski Peninsula on Danco Coast in Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula. Situated east of Wheatstone Glacier. Draining north-northeastwards to enter the head of Beaupré Cove east of Stolze Peak.
