Nikolaos Tsitiridis is a Bulgarian comedian, writer, screenwriter and television presenter.
He is known for his stand-up performances at The Comedy Club Sofia, as well as the host of The Nikolaos Tsitiridis Show on bTV.
Nikolaos-Theodoros Ilias Tsitiridis was born on February 1, 1994, in Athens, Greece. His father is Greek and his mother is Bulgarian from Blagoevgrad. At the age of 5, he came to Bulgaria with his mother. In 2009 he started playing drums and founded his first band. [1]
He completed his primary education in 6 elementary schools and secondary education in 32 secondary schools.
He studied journalism at the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski". He works on his specialty at Offnews. [2] For his work in the media, he won the "Valya Krushkina – journalism for the people" award. [3]
Since 2016, he has been part of The Comedy Club Sofia. He began his career as a comedian on the Open Mic show at The Comedy Club Sofia. After less than a year, he signed a contract with club manager Ivan Kirkov and became a professional stand-up comedian. Since May 16, 2019, he has been a resident – the highest title for special achievements in comedy in Bulgaria. [4] He also participates in The Comedy Club News podcast (show on YouTube), where every week he discusses the week together with Ivan Kirkov and Alexander Deyanski. [5]
From January 27, 2020, he is the host of The Nikolaos Tsitiridis Show on bTV. [6]
In 2022, he is a jury member of the eighth season of Balgariya tarsi talant . [7]
In the same year, he voiced in the bulgarian dubbing of the animated film Minions: The Rise of Gru , recorded in the studio "Alexandra Audio" with the role of Jean-Crab, originally voiced by Jean-Claude Van Damme. [8] [9] This is his only dub appearance. [10]
In 2023 Nikolaos Tsitiridis's show got taken off air for unknown reasons. Following that he's returned to comedy. Later that same year he partook in a competition with his now rival Kristian Uzunov . in which they competed for having a higher rank in the popular game and e-sport League of Legends . Which he lost on the final day.

Prespa was a medieval town, situated in the homonymous area in south-western Macedonia. The 2013–2014 Bulgarian protests against the Oresharski cabinet was a series of demonstrations that were held in Bulgaria, mainly in the capital Sofia, against the left-wing coalition cabinet of Oresharski. The demonstrations started on 28 May 2013, but actual large-scale protests did not emerge until 14 June.
While the trigger factor for the demonstrations was the controversial appointment of Delyan Peevski as head of DANS in June 2013, the public discontent stemmed from a variety of causes, to a large extent connected to the general nature of the BSP-MRF governing coalition and perceived legitimacy issues surrounding political processes in Bulgaria. They ended in July 2014 with the resignation of the Oresharski government.
On June 19, 2014, torrential rains caused severe flash flooding across northeastern Bulgaria leaving dozens of villages without electricity and submerging large parts of several cities in the region. At least 16 people were reported killed – 13 in the Asparuhovo district of Varna, one in Dobrich and two in the village of Tsani Ganchevo in Shumen Province.

The 2016–17 First Professional Football League is the 93rd season of the top division of the Bulgarian football league system, the 69th since a league format was adopted for the national competition of A Group as a top tier of the pyramid and also the inaugural season of the First Professional Football League, which decides the Bulgarian champion. The season is the first with a new league structure and strict financial criteria where 14 clubs play each other home and away, until the league is split up in championship and relegation playoffs. The new league structure, inspired by the ones used by the Belgian First Division A and Danish Superliga, was approved by the Bulgarian Football Union on 6 June 2016. The first round of the local elections for mayors and municipal councilors on both the local and provincial level in Bulgaria were held on 27 October 2019. The second round of the election took place on 3 November, as per the decree signed by the President of Bulgaria. 6,227,901 Bulgarians were included on the voter lists and were eligible to vote, a 136,000 voter reduction compared to the 2015 local elections.
The 2020–2021 Bulgarian protests were a series of demonstrations that were being held in Bulgaria, mainly in the capital Sofia, as well as cities with a large Bulgarian diaspora, such as Brussels, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona, Berlin and London.
