Nimmakuru is a village in Krishna district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Pamarru mandal of Gudivada revenue division. [1] It is the birth place of actor and former Chief minister of Andhra Pradesh N. T. Rama Rao; actor and politician Nandamuri Harikrishna, and actor Rajendra Prasad.

Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, often referred to by his initials NTR, was an Indian actor, filmmaker and politician who served as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for seven years over three terms. He is considered one of the greatest, and most influential actors and filmmakers in the history of Indian cinema. He starred in over 300 films, predominantly in Telugu cinema, and was referred to as Viswa Vikhyatha Nata Sarvabhouma. Aa Naluguru is a 2004 Indian Telugu-language drama film directed by Chandra Siddhartha. The film stars Rajendra Prasad and Aamani with music composed by R. P. Patnaik. It is produced by Sarita Patra, and P. Prem Kumar. The film won three Nandi Awards and also screened at the AISFM Film Festival. It marked the return of Aamani to films after a gap of seven years. The film was later remade in Kannada in 2006 as Sirivantha.

Mee Sreyobhilashi is a 2007 Indian Telugu-language philosophical film, produced by Dr. Y. Sonia Reddy on VISU Films Pvt Ltd banner and directed by V. Eshwar Reddy. story &Dailouges by Ramesh cheppala Starring Rajendra Prasad, Naresh and music composed by Koti. Upon release, the film received highly positive reviews and remained a box office hit. The film won two Nandi Awards and was premiered in the Indian panorama section at the International Film Festival of India. The movie was remade in Kannada as Lift Kodla (2010). The core plot of the movie was reportedly inspired from the 1998 Japanese film Ikinai.

Erra Mandaram is a 1991 Indian Telugu-language film directed by Muthyala Subbaiah. It stars Rajendra Prasad, Yamuna and music composed by Chakravarthy. The entire film was shot in a remote village. The film was remade in Oriya as Udandi Sita starring Aparijita Mohanty, in Tamil as Puthiya Parasakthi and in Kannada as Balarama (2002). The film won four Nandi Awards.

Vivaha Bhojanambu is a 1988 Telugu-language comedy film directed by Jandhyala who co-produced the film with Jaya Krishna under the J. J. Movies banner. It stars Rajendra Prasad, Chandra Mohan, and Ashwini with music composed by S. P. Balasubrahmanyam. The film's title is the song from the 1957 Telugu film Mayabazar. The original song and its video played during the credits. The film, which was released at the peak prowess of all the lead actors and comedians & the Director Jandhyala himself, was very successful at the box office. It is known for its cult comedy scenes betwee Late Sutti Veerabhadra Rao and Iconic comedian Dr Bramhanandam.
