Nina Proll (born 12 January 1974) is an Austrian actress. She has appeared in more than 50 films and television shows since 1995. She starred in the film September , which was screened in the Un Certain Regard section at the 2003 Cannes Film Festival. [1]

Contents

In 1999 she received the Marcello Mastroianni Award given out at the Venice International Film Festival. Proll participated in the third season of the Austrian television dance competition Dancing Stars in 2007, coming in 5th place.

Black Swan is a 2010 American psychological horror film directed by Darren Aronofsky from a screenplay by Mark Heyman, John McLaughlin, and Andres Heinz, based on a story by Heinz. The film made its world premiere at the Max Ophüls Festival on 23 January 2013, where it won the Prize of the Minister President of the State of Saarland for Best Director. It was released in theaters in Austria by Filmdelights on 13 September 2013. The film received two nominations for the Austrian Film Award: Best Director and Best Screenplay.
