The Rastriya Prajatantra Party is a liberal democratic,constitutional monarchist and Hindu nationalist political party in Nepal.
There are three types of elections in Nepal:elections to the Federal Parliament,elections to the provincial assemblies and elections to the local government. Within each of these categories there may be by-elections as well as general elections. Currently three electoral systems are used:parallel voting for House of Representatives and provincial assemblies,Single transferable vote for National Assembly and first past the post for local elections.

It was formed on 21 April 2017 after the merger of Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party,led by the Mahantha Thakur,Terai Madhes Sadbhawana Party,led by the Mahendra Raya Yadav,Sadbhavana Party,led by the Rajendra Mahato,Nepal Sadbhawana Party,led by the Anil Kumar Jha,Madhesi Jana Adhikar Forum (Republican),led by Rajkishor Yadav and Rastriya Madhesh Samajwadi Party,led by Sharat Singh Bhandari. The party was founded with the ideology of democratic system.
General elections were held in Nepal in two phases on 26 November and 7 December 2017 to elect the 275 members of the fifth House of Representatives,the lower house of the Federal Parliament of Nepal. The election was held alongside the first provincial elections for the seven provincial assemblies. A political deadlock between the governing Nepali Congress and the winning left-wing coalition over the system used to elect the upper house led to delay in forming the new government. Following the announcement of final result by the Election Commission,K.P. Oli of Communist Party of Nepal was sworn in as Prime Minister on 15 February 2018 by the President according to Article 76 (2) of the constitution. He passed a Motion of Confidence on 11 March 2018 with 208 votes.
Rastriya Prajantantra Party (Samyukta) (Nepali:राष्ट्रियप्रजातन्त्रपार्टी(संयुक्त)),literally the National Democratic Party (United) and abbreviated RPP (U),was a political party in Nepal. It was formed on 6 August 2017 by Pashupati Shamsher Jang Bahadur Rana after splitting from the Rastriya Prajatantra Party as the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Democratic). On 31 January 2019,it merged with the Unified Rastriya Prajatantra Party (Nationalist),another splinter group of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party,to form Samyukta.
Dimpal Kumari Jha was a Nepalese politician,member of the Provincial Assembly of Province No. 2. She was State Minister of Physical Infrastructure Development in the Government of Province No. 2. She was nominated as a Proportional representation member to participate in the Provincial Assembly of Province No. 2 from political party Rastriya Janata Party Nepal.
Bodhmaya Kumari Yadav is a Nepali politician and a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. She was elected through the proportional representation system from CPN MC. In the 2013 elections for the 2nd constituent assembly,she was a candidate from Dhanusa-6 for the first-past-the post-system from the same party but was lost by Nepali Congress. Following the formation of Nepal Communist Party (NCP),she was appointed the central committee member of the party.

She was elected under the proportional representation system from Rastriya Janata Party Nepal. She is also a member of the House Education and Health Committee.
Ganga Chaudhary Satgauwa,popularly known as Ganga Chaudhary is a Nepali politician and a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. She is also a member of the Women and Social Welfare Committee of the parliament.
Indu Kumari Sharma is a Nepali communist politician and a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. She was elected from CPN Maoist Centre under the proportional representation system. She represents Nepal Communist Party (NCP) which was formed after the election by the merger of her party with CPN UML.
Kumari Meche(Nepali:कुमारीमेचे) is a Nepali communist politician and a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. She was elected from CPN UML under the proportional representation system filling the reserved seat for women and indigenous groups. She represents Nepal Communist Party (NCP),the new party formed by the merger of CPN UML with CPN,in the parliament. She is a member of the House Women and Social Committee.
Mahendra Ray Yadav is a Nepali politician and a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. He is the current central committee chairman of Nepal Socialist Party.
Nar Maya Dhakal is a Nepali politician and a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. She was elected from Rastriya Janata Party Nepal under the proportional representation system.
Nira Devi Jairu is a Nepali communist politician and a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. She was elected under the proportional representation system from CPN UML,filling the reserved seat for women and dalit groups. She currently represents the newly formed Nepal Communist Party (NCP) in parliament,where she also chairs the Parliamentary Committee on Implementation,Monitoring and Evaluation of State's Directive Principles,Policies and Responsibilities. She was also appointed the "Co-Incharge" of Dadeldhura district for NCP.
Pramila Rai is a Nepali politician and an incumbent member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. She was also elected to the first constituent assembly in 2008. Daughter of prominent Nepali Congress leader Bal Bahadur Rai,she joined politics as a student,as a member of the student wing of Nepali Congress. Both her elections to the constituent assembly in 2008 and to the House of Representatives in 2017 were under the proportional representation system. An influential party leader in Udayapur District,she contested the second constituent assembly election from Udayapur-2 constituency under the first-past-the-post system but was defeated.
Rani Mandal is a Nepali politician and a member of the House of Representatives of the federal parliament of Nepal. She was elected from Rastriya Janata Party Nepal under the proportional representation system. She is a member of the parliamentary Women and Social Welfare Committee.
The Rastriya Swatantra Party is a political party in Nepal. It remained as a junior ally in Prachanda-led government from 26 December 2022 until 5 February 2023. It called back its members from the current coalition government arrangement,however,continued its support to the government since 5 February 2023. Party leader and MP Dhaka Kumar Shrestha's audio went viral on 9 April 2023 in which he was heard asking me 20 Millions from medical businessman Durga Prasadi to sworn him as Health Minister.
Sumana Shrestha is a Nepalese politician,belonging to the Rastriya Swatantra Party. She is currently serving as the member of the House of Representatives in the 2nd Federal Parliament of Nepal. In the 2022 election she was elected as a proportional representative under the Indigenous People category.
