Nizam Uddin Jalil John is a Bangladeshi politician and a former member of Jatiya Sangsad representing Naogaon-5 constituency. [1] He was elected in the 2018 election representing Awami League. [2]
Jalil was born in Naogaon Sadar Upazila,Naogaon District. His father's name is Abdul Jalil,who served as the general secretary of Awami League and his mother's name is Rehana Jalil. He joined the law profession in 2018.[ citation needed ]
Nizam was elected in the 2018 Jatiya Sangsad election for Awami League,representing Naogaon-5 constituency,he is the youngest member of the 11th National Parliament. [3]
General elections were held in Bangladesh on 1 October 2001. The 300 seats of the Jatiya Sangsad were contested by 1,935 candidates representing 54 parties and 484 independents. The elections were the second to be held under the caretaker government concept,introduced in 1996.
