Twins are a Hong Kong Cantopop duo that was created in the summer of 2001 by Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG). Twins are made up of two girls, Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍) and Gillian Chung (鍾欣潼). They are a popular group in Hong Kong and a top band in China. Their fanbase have included Taiwan, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Canada, Australia, United States, Vietnam and Philippines. Cantopop or HK-pop is a genre of popular music written in standard modern Chinese but sung in Cantonese. Cantopop is also used to refer to the cultural context of its production and consumption. The genre began in the 1970s and became associated with Hong Kong popular music from the middle of the decade. Cantopop then reached its height of popularity in the 1980s and 1990s before slowly declining in the 2000s and slight revival in the 2010s. The term "Cantopop" itself was coined in 1978 after "Cantorock", a term first used in 1974. Cantopop reached its highest glory with a fanbase and concert reaching Mainland China, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan especially with the influx of songs from Hong Kong movies.

Alex Fong is a Hong Kong actor, singer and swimmer. He was nicknamed "Little Flying Fish" for his swimming achievements. As of 2016, Fong still holds several Hong Kong swimming records. He first represented Hong Kong at the age of 11. Fong has also represented Hong Kong at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Hong Kong. Kary Ng is a pop rock singer in Hong Kong. When she debuted, she had been a member of a music group, Cookies; however, the members of Cookies were eventually arranged to explore their respective solo careers in 2005, and the group is now disbanded. She had temporarily been the lead vocals of rock band Ping Pung in 2004, but Ping Pung had also disbanded after only releasing one album that same year. Commencing in 2005, Ng had officially begun developing her career as a solo artist.

Cookies was a music group in Hong Kong created by Chan Chi Kwong under giant record label EMI Hong Kong and later managed by Paco Wong of then Gold Label Entertainment. The group was formed with nine members in 2002 and was considered an emulation of the Japanese group Morning Musume. However, in 2003, the management contract of Cookies was passed over to Gold Label Entertainment. Once Paco Wong took over the management of Cookies, he made the decision to reduce the number of group members to four. Anniversary is a 2015 Hong Kong romance film directed by Patrick Kong. It was released in Hong Kong on December 31, 2015. It is also the tenth year of Alex Fong and Stephy Tang's relationship. While they have filmed Marriage With A Fool, Love Is Not All Around and L for Love, L for Lies together, all four movies have separate storylines, but they both were starred as leading actor and actress, and directed by Patrick Kong.

Jeanie Lee (traditional Chinese: 李幸倪, better known by her stage name Gin Lee, is a Malaysian singer of Chinese descent. She is currently based in Hong Kong. Gin Lee debuted her singing career in 2009 by releasing her debut album ONE & ONLY in Malaysia. In 2010, she appeared on Hong Kong reality television singing competition The Voice 2 and gained popularity in Hong Kong for her vocal ability.
