Joseph Kim Mitchell is a Canadian rock musician. He was the lead singer and guitarist for the band Max Webster before going on to a solo career. His 1984 single, "Go for Soda", was his only charted song on the US Billboard Hot 100, reaching number 86. Several other singles such as "Patio Lanterns", "Rock and Roll Duty", and "Rockland Wonderland", reached the top 20 in Canada.
A. J. Stevens & Co. Ltd was a British automobile and motorcycle manufacturer in operation from 1909 to 1931. The company was founded by Joe Stevens in Wolverhampton, England. After the firm was sold, the name continued to be used by Matchless, Associated Motorcycles and Norton-Villiers on four-stroke motorcycles until 1969, and since the name's resale in 1974, on lightweight, two-stroke scramblers and today on small-capacity roadsters and cruisers. The company held 117 motorcycle world records.

Although the album contained some dark references to suicide, the liner notes contained links for the International Suicide Prevention Program, and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, among others. The band addressed their choice of subject matter with the following statement within their CD liner notes:
"This album is purely an artistic interpretation of personal experiences. Although there are some references in certain songs suggesting suicide, by no means are they saying that suicide should be an option during a sad or upsetting time in life. If you or someone you know is ever in a situation where you feel suicidal, there is always someone to talk to; friends, family, or counselors."

Purple Moonlight Pages is the sixth studio album by American rapper Rory Ferreira. It is the first studio album released under the moniker R.A.P. Ferreira. The album was produced by longtime collaborator Kenny Segal's group The Jefferson Park Boys, which features producers/multi-instrumentalists Aaron Carmack, Mike Parvizi, and Kenny Segal. Carmack handles most of the keys, live drums, and horns, Parvizi handles the bass, and Segal handles the beats and some keys. "Purple Moonlight Pages" has features from underground rapper Mike Ladd and frequent collaborator Open Mike Eagle.
