None the Less was an English band from Watford, Hertfordshire who originally formed in 2007.

They have released one single Define, one album The Way to Save Ourselves (released May 2009) and an EP Keep Your Hands To Yourself.

The band have played hundreds of shows since their formation, including festivals such as the 2008 Underage Festival, the '3style Festival' 2008, the Camden Crawl, and the 2009 Download Festival. [1]

History

None the Less were originally formed by Anthony Giannaccini, Owen Harvey and Oli Stanton who met while attending Bushey Meads School. Their original drummer, Jack Kenny, was with them up until 2008 [2] and was later replaced by Mike Smith. Guitarist Joe Page, joined in 2007 after his previous band Ryoko separated.

The band's name comes from Anthony's brother's band, who were doing session work and didn't continue as None the Less. [3]

The first 5 track EP titled 'Keep Your Hands To Yourself' was released in 2007 and included crowd favourites such as Four 4's and Mickey Bath. A music video for the single ‘Define’ was released in May 2009, produced by Lawrence Hardy, who has also produced music videos for bands such as You Me At Six and We Are The Ocean.

They played many local and smaller venues throughout 2007, then in 2008/9 began playing larger venues such as the Camden Underworld. They performed at the O2 Carling Academy Islington 2 on 30 May 2009 with Telegraphs supporting In Case of Fire.

The band also won the chance to play a set for the Red Bull Bedroom Jam website after uploading a video for their song Just This Once. [3]

The single "Define" was played on Scuzz TV after its release and they were interviewed on BBC Three Counties Radio, which you can hear on their MySpace, as well as having their songs "Just This Once" and the single "Define" played on Kerrang! radio. The latter which you can also hear on their website. They have also appeared in Kerrang! magazine.

They are due to record their first full-length album between mid June and early July.

Present and future

Their album was released on 25 May 2009, and was also made available to download from iTunes. The band also toured this summer with Young Guns around the UK. At this year's Download Festival, the band received a reception of about 700 people and were rated 4 out of 5 K's by Kerrang! magazine for their set. They appear on the Download 2009 Set List under the 'Red Bull Bedroom Jam' stage. [1]

The band have just finished recording their debut album at Glasseye Studios in Hatfield, entitled Time, The Healer which is due for release in March 2011. The band then plan to tour the UK at Easter in support of the album.

The Boxer Rebellion (band) band

The Boxer Rebellion is an international indie band formed in London, United Kingdom in 2001, consisting of Tennessee-native Nathan Nicholson and Englishmen Andrew Smith, Adam Harrison, and Piers Hewitt (drums). My Passion were an English band formed in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England in 2005. They released their debut album, Corporate Flesh Party, in May 2009 on Cool Green Recordings. Produced by John Mitchell at Outhouse Studios in Reading, the album features eleven tracks, six of which are re-released versions of older demos either presented only on the band's Myspace, or released on their Style Suicide record label. In April 2010, My Passion re-joined John Mitchell at Outhouse to record their second album, titled Inside This Machine. It was initially slated in autumn 2010, however it was finally released on 25 April 2011 through Spinefarm Records, which the band signed to in early 2011. They also have a fan base which was created in 2010 called the 'My Passion Army' which was created by fans.

Trigger the Bloodshed are a British death metal band from Bath, England, formed in 2006. The band comprises guitarist Rob Purnell, vocalist Jonny Burgan, bassist Dave Purnell and drummer Dan Wilding. Trigger the Bloodshed has released three studio albums and toured in Europe with Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse, Meshuggah among others.

Rise to Remain English band

Rise to Remain was a London-based heavy metal band, formed in 2006 and disbanded in 2015. The band made appearances at Download Festival, Sonisphere Festival and extensively toured the UK and Europe. The band released three EPs, the majority of which were "viral" releases, via their MySpace. On 16 March 2011 they signed their first major recording contract with EMI records, which was accompanied by the launch of their website and a free single download entitled "The Serpent". Their debut album, City of Vultures, was released on 5 September 2011, nearly a year after they had started work on recording the album. It was produced by revered metal producer Colin Richardson and Carl Bown. In 2014, the band released a new single entitled "Over and Over".

You and What Army are an English four-piece band formed in 2007, originating from Telford. It consists of David Brown, Kieran Charles Smith, Jamie Hancox and Zak Hammond. Although they are predominantly a rock band, they combine several different musical styles into their sound and are mainly influenced by heavy metal and electronic music.

The Blackout (band) Post-hardcore British band

The Blackout were a post-hardcore band from Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, formed in 2003. They released their EP The Blackout! The Blackout! The Blackout! In October 2007 the band released their debut album, We Are the Dynamite. Their second record, The Best in Town was released on 25 May 2009 in Europe and 23 June 2009 in the US, both via Epitaph Records. The band's third album - titled Hope, was released on 4 April 2011, and charted at number 27 in the UK album chart. Their fourth studio album, titled Start the Party, was released on 21 January 2013. The Blackout's final release was a five track EP entitled Wolves, with their farewell tour held in early 2015, finishing in their hometown of Merthyr Tydfil on Saturday 28 March 2015.

FVK (band) band

FVK were a five-piece English theatrical alternative rock band formed in Beccles in 2008. Their line-up consisted of vocalist and rhythm guitarist Laurence Beveridge, vocalist and rhythm guitarist Kier Kemp, bassist Drew Woolnough, lead guitarist Cyrus Barrone and drummer Luke Illingworth (Pilnahn). The name of the band originated from the 1967 Roman Polanski comedy horror film The Fearless Vampire Killers.

Autumn In Disguise were a Scottish rock band formed in Aberdeen in early 2010. Originally a five-member band they started playing shows in March 2010. They released their first song, a cover of Lady Gaga's "Bad Romance", for free on the group's Bandcamp, before adding a second vocalist. They went on to release their debut EP See Me In Terror on September 1, 2010, along with a music video for the song of the same name.

Never A Hero

Never A Hero was a five-piece nu metal band formed in Sudbury, Suffolk, England in 2009. They self-released their debut EP, 'Socially Awkward' in September 2010, produced by John Mitchell at Outhouse Studios in Reading. It contains five songs including 'From Heroes To Angels' which received air time on Kerrang! and Scuzz TV and also 'Trippin on Speed'. In November 2012 they released their debut album Bleed Between The Lies through Cinderella Records / Musik and Film which the band signed to in early 2012. The album features 14 tracks, five of which are re-released versions of older demos featured on the band's Myspace. The band are currently writing for their second studio album to be released late-2014.

Bleech were an alternative rock band who formed in London in 2009.

ACODA are a four-piece alternative metal band from Corby, Northamptonshire, United Kingdom. Beartooth is an American hardcore punk band formed by Caleb Shomo in Columbus, Ohio in 2012. They have been signed to Red Bull Records since 2013. Their debut EP Sick was released on July 26, 2013, followed by their debut full-length album Disgusting on June 10, 2014. Their second album Aggressive was released on June 3, 2016. Their third album Disease was released on September 28, 2018.

The Dirty Youth are a British Rock band from South Wales that formed in late 2009. The band's lineup consists of singer Danni Monroe, guitarist/keyboardist Matt Bond, guitarist Luke Padfield, bassist Leon Watkins and drummer Jacob moseley.

Milk Teeth are a British punk rock band from Stroud, Gloucestershire, which formed in May 2013. The band consists of bassist and vocalist Becky Blomfield, guitarist Em Foster, and drummer Jack Kenny. The band was signed to Hopeless Records in April 2015, before moving to Roadrunner Records from 2017 to 2019, then Music For Nations from 2019 onwards.
