Biography

Noor Imran Mithu made his debut in silver screen with Ant Story in 2014. [3] [4] For this film he was nominated for Meril Prothom Alo Awards 2014 in Best Debut Actor/Actress category. [5] He directed two dramas for Channel I in 2016. [6] In 2018 he made his debut as a film director with Komola Rocket . [6] [7] He was awarded in Jaffna International Cinema Festival in Sri Lanka as Best Debut Director and nominated for Meril Prothom Alo Awards in 2019 for this film. [8] [9]

Komola Rocket is a 2018 Bangladeshi Bengali language drama film, written and directed by Noor Imran Mithu. The film based on two short stories Moulik and Saipras written by Shahaduz Zaman. The film produced by Faridur Reza Sagar and Impress Telefilm Limited, and distributed by Impress Telefilm Limited. Starring Tauquir Ahmed, Mosharraf Karim, Joy Raj, Samia Said, Fariha Shams Sheuti and Dominic Gomes in the lead roles. It is one of the two Bangladeshi films that has premiered on Netflix yet.

Samia Said Chowdhory is a Bangladeshi model and actress. She was the winner of Lux Channel I Superstar, the most prestigious beauty pageant in Bangladesh, was held in 2012. She started her acting career with the television drama Increment in 2012. Said rose to prominence with her film debut in the 2018 Beglali drama Komola Rocket directed by Noor Imran Mithu, which is an adaptation of two short stories Moulik and Saipras by Bengali writer Shahaduz Zaman.
