Norelhouda El Kaoui (3 January 1983), is a Moroccan Paralympic athlete who competes in throwing events. [1]
Her first major competition was at the 2023 World Para Athletics Championships, where she placed 7th in the F55 shot put.
At the same championships the following year in 2024, Norelhouda placed 6th in the same event.
In the 2024 Summer Paralympics, Norelhouda placed 5th in the shot put, breaking the African record with a throw of 23.42 metres. [2] [3]

Azeddine Nouiri is a Moroccan wheelchair athlete who competes in throwing events. He won the F34 classification shot put competition at the 2012 and 2016 Paralympics, setting a world record at 13.10 metres in 2012. In the javelin throw he finished tenth and seventh, respectively. He served as the flag bearer for Morocco at the 2016 Summer Paralympics Parade of Nations.
Cameroon sent a delegation to compete at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7 to 18 September 2016. This was the nation's second appearance at a Summer Paralympic Games after it made its debut four years earlier at the 2012 Summer Paralympics. They were represented by one athlete, shot put thrower Christian Gobe, who contested one event, the men's shot put F55. In that competition, he finished eighth out of twelve athletes with a throw of 10.28 metres.
Panama sent a delegation to compete at the 2016 Summer Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, from 7–18 September 2016. This was the nation's seventh time competing in the Summer Paralympic Games after it first entered the movement at the 1992 Summer Paralympics. The Panamanian delegation to Rio de Janeiro consisted of two athletes: shot put thrower Francisco Cedeño Almengor and javelin thrower Iveth Valdes Romero. Almengor ranked eleventh out of twelve athletes in the men's shot put F54–55 competition and Romero placed in the same position in the women's javelin F55–F56 event.
Angela Madsen was an American Paralympian sportswoman in both rowing and track and field. In a long career, Madsen moved from race rowing to ocean challenges before switching in 2011 to athletics, winning a bronze medal in the shot put at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London. Madsen and teammate Helen Taylor were the first women to row across the Indian Ocean. She died in June 2020 while attempting a solo row from Los Angeles to Honolulu.
