North Putnam Senior High School is a public high school located in Roachdale, Indiana. Established on July 1st, 1964, it serves approximately 400 students in grades 9-12. The North Putnam Senior High School is part of the North Putnam School Corporation, which has elementary schools in Bainbridge and Roachdale Indiana.
Putnam County is a county located in the U.S. state of Indiana. As of the 2020 United States Census, the population was 36,726. The county seat is Greencastle. The county was named for Israel Putnam, a hero in the French and Indian War and a general in the American Revolutionary War. The county was created in 1821 and organized in April 1822.

Columbia blue is a light blue color named after Columbia University. The color itself derives from the official hue of the Philolexian Society, the university's oldest student organization. Although Columbia blue is often identified with Pantone 292, the Philolexian Society first used it in the early 19th century, before the standardization of colors. Pantone 290, a slightly lighter shade of blue, has also been specified by some Columbia University offices, and is the current official color listed by the Columbia University visual communications office. Several other shades are also used by parts of the university in an official capacity.
State Road 236 in the U.S. State of Indiana exists in two sections. The western section starts at U.S. Route 41 (US 41) in Parke County, and runs eastward, paralleling its parent that lies to the south, U.S. Route 36 (US 36). The Western Indiana Conference is the name of two IHSAA-sanctioned conferences based in West Central Indiana. The first formed as an eight-team league that formed as a basketball league in 1944 as the West Central Conference. The league started expanding in 1945 and changed its name to the Western Indiana Conference. With consolidation forcing many membership changes in the 1970s, the conference folded at four members in 1983.

Roger L. Putnam Vocational Technical Academy is an American vocational high school located in Springfield, Massachusetts, next to the Springfield High School of Science and Technology. South Putnam High School is a public high school located on the southern edge of Greencastle, Indiana in the heart of Putnam County. South Putnam High School serves students in the south central Putnam County area. There is also one middle school, South Putnam Middle School and two elementary schools, Fillmore and Central, that feed into South Putnam High School. South Putnam High School was ranked, in 2018, as the #18 high school in Indiana by U.S. News & World Report, the highest ranking of any Indiana public high school with less than 400 students. South Putnam High School is a school in South Putnam Community Schools, which is crossed by Interstate 70, U.S. Route 40, and U.S. Route 231. With the relative access to many highways, South Putnam is located in the crossroads between the cities of Terre Haute, Bloomington, Lafayette/West Lafayette, and Indianapolis, four university cities that have many prominent programs in various fields of study, which makes South Putnam a center of activity located between these four cities. Additionally, DePauw University is located four miles north in nearby Greencastle, IN.
Harriet Watson is an Indiana based artist who has predominantly worked in 2-D abstraction throughout her artistic career. She is a member of the Eighteen Art Collective, formed after a project in which eighteen Black artists collaborated to create the Black Lives Matter street mural on the historic Indiana Avenue. Watson's art is inspired by Black female artists from the 70's such as Faith Ringgold and Emma Amos. Watson owns her own business, Harriet Watson Art LLC, where she sells her art and clothing brand.
