North of South is a Spanish metal project led by multi-instrumentalist Chechu Nos. Officially founded in 2017, it is focused on the release of studio albums, and has not performed live to date. [3]

Contents

North of South blends a variety of genres, including progressive metal, jazz, pop, and Latin music. Most lyrics are sung in English, though Spanish is used as well.

The project often involves the collaboration of other artists, such as Kobi Farhi (Orphaned Land), Anna Murphy (Cellar Darling), Zuberoa Aznárez (Diabulus in Musica), Tom S. Englund (Evergrey), [1] and Sakis Tolis (Rotting Christ). [2]

North of South released the album New Latitudes in 2018 and the EP The Dogma and the Outsider in 2019. Their second studio album, to be titled The Tides in Our Veins, is due out on 25 June 2021. [4]

Sodom (band)

He has since established himself as an alternative singer-songwriter, and continues to fervently release solo albums, as well as perform on collaborative efforts at a staggering rate.

Nuclear Assault American thrash metal band

Nuclear Assault is an American thrash metal band formed in New York City in 1984. Part of the mid-to-late 1980s thrash metal movement, they were one of the main bands of the genre to emerge from the East Coast along with Overkill, Whiplash, Toxik, Carnivore, and Anthrax; the latter was co-founded by Nuclear Assault bassist Dan Lilker, who left Anthrax shortly after the release of their first album. Nuclear Assault released five full-length albums and toured relentlessly throughout the 1980s and early 1990s, and broke up in 1995. The band reunited briefly in 1997 and then permanently in 2002.

Nightrage is a Greek/Swedish melodic death metal band, originally from Thessaloniki. They later re-located to Gothenburg, Sweden.

Athanasios "Sakis" Tolis is a Greek musician best known as the vocalist and guitarist of Rotting Christ. He is also known as Necromayhem.

Vein.fm is an American hardcore punk band from Boston, Massachusetts that formed in 2013. They are known for their frequent tours and have performed shows with groups such as Code Orange and Twitching Tongues while in Europe. In 2017 the band was signed onto Closed Casket Activities, who would issue their first full-length work Errorzone to warm reception among critics, even appearing on Revolvers early "Best Albums of 2018" list. The album also managed to peak at #21 in Billboard charts' Hard Rock album chart. In July 2020, after the release of their remix album, the band announced it changed its name to Vein.fm.

<i>Yasuke</i> (TV series) 2021 original net animation series

Yasuke is a Japanese-American original net anime series loosely based on the historical figure of the same name, an African warrior who served under Japanese daimyo Oda Nobunaga during the Sengoku period of samurai conflict in 16th century Japan. Created by LeSean Thomas and animated by Japanese animation studio MAPPA, the series stars Lakeith Stanfield as the titular character. The series was released on Netflix on April 29, 2021.
