The Northern Ireland men's national volleyball team is the national volleyball team of Northern Ireland.
They competed in the CEV European Small Nations division and qualified for the final of the tournament held in 2017. They reached Round 2 of the 2018 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship qualification (CEV) with Gerry Ford as head coach and Harry Gilliland as assistant coach.

The European Volleyball Confederation is the continental governing body for the sports of indoor volleyball, beach volleyball, and snow volleyball in Europe. Its headquarters is located in Luxembourg City, Luxembourg.
Andrea Giani is an Italian professional volleyball coach and former player who scored numerous successes in the 1990s, including three World Championships with his national team. He is considered one of the best volleyball players ever. He was an all-rounder able to play both as outside hitter and as middle blocker, but he played several times as opposite too.
Nikola Grbić is a Serbian professional volleyball coach and former player, who is currently serving as head coach for the Poland national team. Grbić is the Olympic Champion Sydney 2000, a bronze medallist in the Olympic Games Atlanta 1996, and a multiple World Championship, European Championship and World League medallist. He was named the European Player of the Year in 2007 and inducted into the Volleyball Hall of Fame in 2016.
Slobodan Kovač is a Serbian volleyball coach and former volleyball player, Olympic Champion at Sydney 2000, bronze medallist at the Olympic Games in Atlanta 1996 and winner of 2019 European championship.
The Russia men's national volleyball team is governed by the Russian Volleyball Federation and took part in international volleyball competitions.
Tuomas Petteri Sammelvuo is a Finnish professional volleyball coach and former player. He currently serves as head coach for the Canada national team and the Polish PlusLiga team, ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle.
Aleksey Igorevich Verbov is a retired Russian volleyball player, a former member of Russia men's national volleyball team and the Russian club Zenit Kazan. He is currently coaching the men's Zenit Kazan team.

Laurent Tillie is a French professional volleyball coach and former player. He was a member of the France national team from 1982 to 1995 and a participant in the Olympic Games. He currently serves as head coach for the Japanese team, Panasonic Panthers.
