Billings station is a historic train depot in the Historic District of downtown Billings, Montana, United States. The depot was constructed to serve as a passenger station for the Northern Pacific Railway, Great Northern and Chicago, Burlington and Quincy. All three railroad merged to form the Burlington Northern Railroad in 1970, along with the Spokane, Portland and Seattle Railway. In 1971 Amtrak took over passenger service throughout the country.

Today this historic district includes several buildings listed individually on the National Register of Historic Places, including the Union Pacific Depot and the Burlington Station.
The Geraldine Milwaukee Depot was built by the Chicago, Milwaukee, St. Paul and Pacific Railroad in 1914. The depot is a rectangular one-story wood frame building built in the Craftsman style.
The Burlington, Cedar Rapids and Northern Railway (BCR&N) was a railroad that operated in the United States from 1876 to 1903. It was formed to take over the operations of the bankrupt Burlington, Cedar Rapids and Minnesota Railway, which was, in turn, the result of merging several predecessor lines, the construction of which began in 1869. The corporate headquarters were in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and it had operations in Iowa and in Minnesota. It was succeeded by the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railway.
Amenia station is a historic railroad station in Amenia, North Dakota, United States. It was built in 1880, and was designed and/or built by the Northern Pacific Railroad. The depot served Amenia until 1974. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977 as the Burlington Northern Depot, and delisted in 2016.
The North Bank Depot Buildings, in central Portland, Oregon, United States, are a pair of buildings formerly used as a freight warehouse and passenger terminal for the Spokane, Portland and Seattle Railway (SP&S). Formed in 1905, the SP&S was commonly known as the North Bank Road during the period in which these buildings were in use. The Portland buildings' passenger facilities were also used by the Oregon Electric Railway after that railway was acquired by the SP&S. Located in what is now known as the Pearl District, the buildings were listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1996. They were in use by the SP&S and its successor, Burlington Northern Railroad, from 1908 until the 1980s. Only the east building was used as a passenger station, and this usage lasted from 1908 until 1931.
The Gem Saloon, at 808 Main St. in Thompson Falls, Montana, USA, was built in 1914. It is a historic building listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It has also been used by, and was known as, Napa Auto Parts, and has been a restaurant, too. When photographed in 2013 it held a pizza shop.
The Burlington, Cedar Rapids, and Northern Railroad-Rock Rapids Station, Railroad Track and Bridge is a nationally recognized historic district located in Rock Rapids, Iowa, United States. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. At the time of its nomination the district included one contributing building and three contributing structures.
The Hawthorne Glove and Novelty Company–Shrader Drug Company Building is a historic building located in Iowa City, Iowa, United States. Completed in 1906, this utilitarian three-story brick structure is located in the city's original railroad and industrial corridor south of the central business district. This was an industrial area from the 1870s to the 1940s. It replaced a recently built building on the same site by the Hawthorne Glove and Novelty Company that had been destroyed in a fire. The back of the building opened upon the rail sidings of a branch line of the Burlington, Cedar Rapids and Northern Railway, later the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific. By the start of World War I the Shrader Drug Company occupied the building. It was one of three drug related factories that were located along the South Gilbert Street corridor at that time. The company name changed to the Hewell-Shrader Drug Company in 1930 and then the Hewell-Shrader Company in 1945 after farm fertilizer was added to its product line. The company closed in 1956, and the building was sold to the Thompson Transfer and Storage Company who used it for a warehouse. Whipple House Furniture Store took over the building three years later, and remained until 1975. In the intervening years a variety of businesses occupied the building until the 1980s when it was vacant for a period of time. In the mid-1980s The Vine Tavern occupied the basement level and the upper floors were used for artist studios. In 2012 the upper floors were converted into apartments. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.

Preston House, at 205 Ferry St. in Thompson Falls, Montana, was built in 1909 by builder Charles H. Doenges, who was the major builder/contractor in Thompson Falls during 1905 to 1913. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. It has also been known as Brown House.
The Hoyt House, in 204 Gallatin St. in Thompson Falls in Sanders County, Montana, was built in 1914. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
The Tourist Hotel on Main St. in Thompson Falls in Sanders County, Montana was built in 1912. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986. It has also been known as Hotel Bar.
The Ward Hotel, at 925 Main Street in Thompson Falls in Sanders County, Montana was built in 1907-1908 by Edward Donlan. Edward Donlan is very likely the most significant individual in Thompson Falls history. He was a substantial land owner, entrepreneur and politician. He was elected state senator from Missoula in 1902, 1906, 1910 and 1918.
The Sanders County Jail is a historic jail built in 1907 in Thompson Falls in Sanders County, Montana. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.
