Northford Ice Pavilion is an American ice skating complex, located in the Northford area of North Branford, Connecticut. It hosts a number of high school ice hockey teams. [1]
The arena formerly hosted the Connecticut Whale of the Premier Hockey Federation in the 2016–17 season. [2] It also formerly hosted the NCAA Division I program of Quinnipiac Bobcats men's ice hockey, in the era before the TD Banknorth Sports Center was opened. [3]

New Haven Coliseum, formally known as New Haven Veterans Memorial Coliseum, was a sports and entertainment arena located in downtown New Haven, Connecticut. Construction began in 1968 and was completed in 1972. The Coliseum was officially closed on September 1, 2002, by Mayor John DeStefano Jr., and demolished by implosion on January 20, 2007.
Total Mortgage Arena is a 10,000-seat multi-purpose arena in downtown Bridgeport, Connecticut, United States. It is the home venue of the Bridgeport Islanders of the American Hockey League (AHL). Managed by the Oak View Group, the arena was built alongside the Hartford HealthCare Amphitheater and opened on October 10, 2001. Webster Bank entered into a 10-year $3.5 million agreement on January 6, 2011, with the City of Bridgeport for the arena naming rights. When this agreement ended, the City entered into a new one on March 8, 2022, that granted the naming rights to Total Mortgage of Milford, Connecticut.
Mark Edward Freitas Ice Forum was a 2,000-seat hockey rink in Storrs, Connecticut. It was the longtime home arena and recent practice facility for the University of Connecticut women's and men's college ice hockey teams.
Milford Ice Pavilion is a 1,000-seat skating rink in Milford, Connecticut. It is home to the Milford Indians co-op high school team, and Sacred Heart University Pioneers men's ice hockey team until 2016. The building opened in 1975 and was renovated in 1985. It also serves several local hockey high school and club level teams. It has been the home of the Sacred Heart hockey program since its inception in 1993.
M&T Bank Arena, previously known as TD Bank Sports Center and People's United Center, is a multi-purpose arena in Hamden, Connecticut. Its design is unusual in that it consists of two separate playing and seating areas, one intended for basketball and one intended for ice hockey, joined together within a common facility. It seats 3,570 for basketball and 3,386 for hockey. Officially, the hockey side is known as the Frank Perrotti, Jr. Arena at the People's United Center.

The Quinnipiac Bobcats women's ice hockey program represents Quinnipiac University. The Bobcats have competed in ECAC Hockey since the 2005-2006 season where they replaced Vermont when the Catamounts moved to Hockey East. Prior to that season the Bobcats competed in College Hockey America for the 2004-2005 season, played as a Division I Independent for the 2002-2003 and 2003-2004 seasons, and in the ECAC Division I Eastern division for the 2001-2002 season.
The Quinnipiac Bobcats men's ice hockey team is a National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I college ice hockey program that represents Quinnipiac University. The Bobcats are a member of ECAC Hockey. They play at the M&T Bank Arena in Hamden, Connecticut.
The AHA tournament is the conference tournament for the Atlantic Hockey Association. The winner of the tournament receives an automatic berth into the NCAA Division I men's ice hockey tournament.
The Connecticut Whale were a professional ice hockey team based in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). They played in Simsbury, Connecticut at the International Skating Center of Connecticut. The team was established in 2015 as one of the four charter franchises of the National Women's Hockey League (NWHL), which became the PHF in 2021. Their name and colors paid homage to the Hartford Whalers, a former NHL and WHA franchise based in Connecticut. The team folded along with the PHF in 2023 as part of the creation of a new, unified women's league, the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL).

She was previously an assistant coach for the Penn State Nittany Lions women's ice hockey program. She also played for the Connecticut Whale of the now defunct Premier Hockey Federation.
