Holston Hills Country Club is located in Knoxville, Tennessee. The clubhouse was built in 1927 and designed by the firm, Barber & McMurry. The golf course was designed by Donald Ross. Following its construction, it was recognized as the finest course in the state and hosted all the important regional events. Holston Hills C.C. is one of Ross's most famous designs and is widely considered to be one of the more untouched Donald Ross designs left in the United States. In 2010, Holston Hills C.C. was ranked no. 52 on the Golfweek top 100 classic courses in the United States.

Plainfield Country Club is a private country club and golf course located in Edison in Middlesex County, New Jersey, United States. It was founded in 1890 as the Hillside Tennis Club. Its golf course was designed in 1916 by golf course designer Donald Ross, and opened BC for play in 1921.

Vesper Country Club is a private club in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts. The club derives from two late 19th century institutions, Vesper Boat Club and Lowell Country Club, which merged in 1894. The following year, members started creating a golf course originally consisting of six "links." In the late 1910s, the course commissioned Donald Ross to create a full 18-hole course. Though the course met with praise the ensuing decades were hard for Vesper. In the 1920s the clubhouse burnt down and in the 1930s a flood nearly destroyed the course. Since then, however, the club's history has been largely stable and the course has hosted several notable events, including the Massachusetts Open and Massachusetts Amateur several times.

Southern Pines Golf Course is a golf course in Southern Pines, North Carolina. The course first opened in 1906 and played out by Donald Ross in the 1910. The Southern Pines Elks Club owned the course between 1951 and 2020. Southern Pines was purchased in 2020 and renovated by architect Kyle Franz in 2021 as a 6,900 yard par 70 course.
