Nothing to Fear was the first home produced album that MC Lars, then known as Lars Horris, released under his first label in high school "Noseman Records". It was limited to 200 copies and was distributed amongst classmates at Robert Louis Stevenson School and his dorm, Junipero, at Stanford University.

Horris Hill, is an independent day and boarding preparatory school for boys aged 4–13. It is located in Hampshire in England, south of Newbury in Berkshire and near the village of Newtown. The Tangle Box by Terry Brooks is the fourth novel of the Magic Kingdom of Landover series. This book was first published on April 12, 1994. The plot has an inept old wizard, Horris Kew, accidentally releasing an evil creature called the Gorse. The creature soon imprisons Ben, the dragon Strabo, and the witch Nightshade in a device known as the Tangle Box. They must find a way out while Ben's allies find a way to handle the new threat from the Gorse.

Roland Gardens was a British Thoroughbred racehorse and sire best known for winning the classic 2000 Guineas in 1978. During a racing career which lasted from 1977 until 1979 he ran sixteen times and won four races. As a two-year-old he showed moderate form in his first three races before being disqualified after passing the post first in the Horris Hill Stakes. In the following spring he won the Blue Riband Trial Stakes before recording a 28/1 upset victory in the 2000 Guineas. He was beaten in his remaining five races that year and won once in four starts as a four-year-old. He later stood as a breeding stallion in South Africa where he had some success as a sire of winners.

The Zombie Dinosaur LP is the fourth studio album by MC Lars, released on November 6, 2015, peaking at number 15 on the Billboard Heatseakers chart. It was funded entirely through the Kickstarter, and was completed and released in eighteen months. The album was self-produced by MC Lars, with help from Jim Greer of The Rondo Brothers and Damondrick Jack.

The 1984 Epsom Derby was the 205th annual running of the Derby horse race. It took place at Epsom Downs Racecourse on 6 June 1984. It was the first edition of the race to be commercially sponsored and was known as the Ever Ready Derby. The sponsorship meant that the first prize of £227,680 was the biggest in the history of the race.
