The Nottinghamshire Cricket Board is the governing body for all recreational cricket in the historic county of Nottinghamshire.

From 1999 to 2003 the Board fielded a team in the English domestic one-day tournament, matches which had List-A status. [1]

Structure

The Board is structured so there are a number of sub committees, created to ensure input to the Board Chairman. These are the Finance, Policy, Development, Publicity, Advisory Services & Promotions, Senior Cricket, Junior, Youth and Coaching, Schools Cricket, Women & Girls Cricket and Cricket for the Disabled. She appeared in 11 Test matches, 144 One Day Internationals and 104 Twenty20 Internationals for England between 2004 and her international retirement in October 2019. She played domestic cricket for Nottinghamshire, Yorkshire, Warwickshire, Yorkshire Diamonds, Loughborough Lightning, Northern Diamonds, Northern Superchargers, South Australia and Western Australia.

Paul Raymond Pollard is an English cricket umpire and former first-class cricketer. As a player, he was an opening batsman who played over 300 games in first-class and List A cricket for Nottinghamshire before a shorter stay with Worcestershire. After retiring from top-line county cricket in 2002, he had one season with Lincolnshire and appeared twice for them in List A matches. His medium-pace bowling was of the occasional variety, and with it he captured four first-class wickets. He has also coached, including in Zimbabwe.

Wamil Way is a cricket ground in Mildenhall, Suffolk with two cricket fields, in a picturesque setting beside the River Lark. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1976, when Suffolk played Huntingdonshire. The ground hosted its first Minor Counties Championship match in the same year when Suffolk played Norfolk. From 1977 to present, the ground has hosted 30 Minor Counties Championship matches and 2 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches.

Deer Park is a cricket ground within the grounds of Dunstall Hall, Dunstall, Staffordshire. The first recorded match on the ground was in 1997, when the Derbyshire Second XI played the Durham Second XI in the Second XI Trophy. The ground held 2 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches in 1999. The first saw the Derbyshire Cricket Board as the home team against Shropshire and the second saw Staffordshire against the Nottinghamshire Cricket Board. The ground has held a number of Second XI Championship and Second XI Trophy matches for the Derbyshire Second XI.

Russell John Evans was an English cricketer and umpire. Evans was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm medium pace. He was born in Calverton, Nottinghamshire.

Joseph David Michael Evison is an English cricketer. He made his first-class debut on 16 September 2019, for Nottinghamshire in the 2019 County Championship. In October 2019, he was named in the England under-19 cricket team's squad for a 50-over tri-series in the Caribbean. In December 2019, he was named in England's squad for the 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He made his List A debut on 25 July 2021, for Nottinghamshire in the 2021 Royal London One-Day Cup. In April 2022, in the opening round of matches in the 2022 County Championship, Evison scored his maiden century in first-class cricket, with 109 not out against Sussex. He made his Twenty20 debut on 3 July 2022, for Nottinghamshire in the 2022 T20 Blast.

The South Nottinghamshire Cricket League serves Nottingham and the surrounding towns and villages. The South Nottinghamshire Cricket League (SNCL) is one of two Nottinghamshire leagues that feeds into the ECB accredited Nottinghamshire Cricket Board Premier League. The headquarters for the SNCL is based in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire. Nottinghamshire Recreational Cricket is the body responsible for all recreational cricket in the Nottinghamshire and ensures the smooth running of the game on a number of different levels.

The 2022 Royal London One-Day Cup tournament was a limited overs cricket competition that formed part of the 2022 domestic cricket season in England and Wales. Matches were contested over 50 overs per side, having List A cricket status, with all eighteen first-class counties competing in the tournament. The tournament began on 2 August 2022, with the final taking place on 17 September 2022 at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Glamorgan were the defending champions, having won the 2021 tournament. Kent won the tournament, beating Lancashire by 21 runs in the final.
