The NSU Sharks Women's Soccer team represents Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. They currently compete in the Sunshine State Conference.
Among the highlights of the 2004 campaign was the first-ever victory for an NSU team in a Sunshine State Conference Tournament game, as the Knights knocked off nationally ranked Lynn University 2–1 on the road in the SSC quarterfinals. NSU lost to eventual SSC Tournament Champion Tampa in the semifinals, but proved it can compete with the best in the conference.
The 2002 season saw the Knights break a number of program records en route to a 13–5 record in the program’s first year playing in NCAA Division II. The Knights set school records for fewest losses, consecutive home wins (6), home wins in a season (8) and fewest goals allowed in a season (22). The Knights also received National Poll votes in the NCAA.

The Sunshine State Conference is a collegiate athletic conference that participates in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II. Its member institutions are located in the state of Florida, which is popularly known as the Sunshine State.
The UCF Knights are the athletic teams that represent the University of Central Florida in Orlando, Florida. The Knights participate in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's (NCAA) Division I as a member of the American Athletic Conference.
The Nova Southeastern Sharks are the athletic teams representing Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. They currently compete in the Sunshine State Conference. The Sunshine State Conference is often considered the "Conference of Champions", because of its national recognition. Nova Southeastern was originally an NAIA from 1982 until 2002, where they moved into the NCAA and the Sunshine State Conference.

The UCF Knights men's basketball team represents The University of Central Florida located in Orlando, Florida, United States. UCF competes in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and the American Athletic Conference. The Knights play their home games in the Addition Financial Arena located on the university's main campus. They are coached by Johnny Dawkins who was hired in 2016.
The Texas Tech Red Raiders basketball team represents Texas Tech University in basketball. Texas Tech competes in Division I of the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA), and as a charter member of the Big 12 Conference, since its first season in 1996. The team previously competed in the Border Conference and Southwest Conference. The team was founded in 1925, having since won 12 regular season conference championships, 5 postseason conference championships, and made 17 appearances in the NCAA Tournament as of the 2018–19 season. The Red Raiders have played their home games at the United Supermarkets Arena since 1999 on the university's campus in Lubbock, Texas. Chris Beard, the team's 17th head coach, has led the Red Raiders since the 2016–17 season.

The Barry Buccaneers are the athletic teams that represent Barry University, located in Miami Shores, Florida, United States, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Buccaneers compete as members of the Sunshine State Conference. Barry has been a member of the SSC since 1988. Barry University currently competes in 12 intercollegiate sports for men and women.
The Florida Tech Panthers are composed of 18 teams representing the Florida Institute of Technology in intercollegiate athletics, including men and women's basketball, cross country, lacrosse, rowing, soccer, swimming, and track and field. Men's sports include baseball and golf. Women's sports include softball and volleyball. The Panthers compete in the NCAA Division II and are members of the Sunshine State Conference for most sports, except for the football team and track and field team, which compete in the Gulf South Conference and Peach Belt Conference, respectively.

The Moccasins compete as members of the Sunshine State Conference in 17 varsity sports. Florida Southern has been a member of the conference since its founding in 1975. Florida Southern also competes as independents six other sports.
The 1977–78 FTU Knights men's basketball team was a NCAA Division II college basketball team that represented Florida Technological University, now named the University of Central Florida. The Knights competed in the Sunshine State Conference (SSC), and played their home games in the university's education gymnasium on FTU's main campus in Orlando, Florida. The team was led by head coach Torchy Clark who was in his ninth season with the team.
The Sam Houston State Bearkats softball team represents Sam Houston State University in NCAA Division I college softball. The team participates in the Southland Conference. The Bearkats are currently led by head coach Bob Brock. The team plays its home games at the Bearkat Softball Complex located on the university's campus.
The Bellarmine Knights men's basketball team represents Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky, United States. The Knights compete in the Atlantic Sun Conference (ASUN) and are currently transitioning to NCAA Division I. The team competed in the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) from the conference's founding in 1972 through the 2019–20 season. They are currently led by head coach Scott Davenport and play their home games at Knights Hall.
The Embry–Riddle Eagles are the athletic teams that represent Embry–Riddle Aeronautical University, located in Daytona Beach, in NCAA Division II intercollegiate sports. The Eagles compete in the Sunshine State Conference, and have 21 varsity sports as of the 2017–18 season. They have been members of the SSC since 2015. Prior to joining the SSC, the Eagles competed in NAIA as founding members of the Sun Conference from 1990 until 2015. Embry-Riddle men's and woman's track and field teams compete in the Peach Belt Conference as associate members.
