P.O.T. was a Filipino rock band, formed in 1994 and officially disbanded in 2005. The band was fronted by Karl Roy who also fronted the bands Advent Call and Kapatid. The group is famous for their 1997 remake of the song "Yugyugan Na", originally performed by The Advisors in 1977. The band held a reunion concert on July 22, 2006, at The 70's Bistro in Quezon City. On 1997, Harley Alarcon left the band and was replaced by Jay Alviar who also left a year later. In 1999, Ian Umali left the band to go back to school and continue his studies.
Rivermaya is a Filipino alternative rock band. Formed in 1994, it is one of the several bands who spearheaded the 1990s Philippine alternative rock explosion.

Permission to Shine is the debut studio album by the Filipino band 6cyclemind. It has 12 tracks and was released under BMG Records Pilipinas in 2003. The carrier single "Biglaan" reached number one on the NU107 and RX 93.1 charts and the acoustic version charted on 97.1 LS. This was immediately followed by the single "Paba", which topped 99.5 RT, and "Nalilito". In 2004 the band released their fourth single "Sige". Slapshock was a Filipino heavy metal band from Metro Manila. They were formed in 1997, originally as a nu metal act, with their early musical style compared to that of Korn. They later shifted towards a metalcore style.
Free, is the fifth studio album from the Filipino rock band, Rivermaya. It has 10 tracks and was released on August 30, 2000, by the band independently, literally given away for free which is another first for any Filipino artist or artist previously signed with a major label. “Free” was also named Album of the Year in the NU Rock Awards 2000. This was the last album to feature Nathan Azarcon who left the band in 2001, he eventually returned in 2016.
