Nsingizini Hotspurs F.C is a Eswatini professional football club based in the Shiselweni Region, Hluthi, Nsingizini closer to the Lavumisa Boarder that connect Eswatini to Kwazulu Natal Province in South Africa. The club competes in the Premier League of Eswatini, the top flight of Eswatini football. Formed in 1984 by the community of Nsingizini, the club was originally playing stokvels (community tournaments) and used to develop and promote talent for Premier League of Eswatini teams. The club’s nickname ‘Insingizi Yezulu’ originates from the name of a bird ‘Southern ground-hornbill’. The club currently plays its matches at the 2,000-seat King Sobhuza II Memorial Stadium. The club finished in 3rd position in the 8Bet Trade Fair Cup 2024.

In 2018 the leadership of the team changed to one of the legends of the club which is the current President of the club Mr. Derrick Shiba. The vision of the club was then redefined to see Nsingizini Hotspurs F.C playing and dominating in Africa. To become one of the greatest and most victorious sports brands in Eswatini and the rest of the continent, boasting a modest  membership of 1 million supporters by 2030.

The club is leading in Eswatini in terms of meeting the CAF club licensing criteria aimed at professionalizing football clubs in Africa. In the 2023/24 season the club launched its own state of the art training facility and a technical sponsor from one of the fasted growing sporting brands in Africa Primo Sportswear from Durban South Africa.

The club boost of a first world leadership, the president of the club is leading a first world organization the Inyatsi Group, Africa’s Leading Integrated Business Partner. The club has aligned itself with the philosophy of the Inyatsi Group. Thanks to His Majesty King Mswati III for the first world vision which anchors the mindset of the team. We also pay respect to the Chairman of the Inyatsi Group Mr. Michello Shakantu for mentorship to the leadership of the club.

  1. The club competed in the CAF Confederation Cup 2024 representing the country in Africa.
  2. Nsingizini Hotspurs F.C were crowned MTN MoMo cup champions for 2023/24 season, successfully defending the title, the club won in the previous season.
  3. Nsingizini Hotspurs F.C finished the 2023/24 season in the top 3, a huge milestone from last season 6th finish.
  4. The club is currently the most followed club on social media (Facebook) in the country with 43k followers and growing.
  5. The club successfully launched 11 supporters branches across the country and planning for more launch.
  6. The club merchandise distribution network boost of 6 retails shops distributed across the country.
  7. The club has produced 9 senior national team players during the 2023/2024 season.
