Nəsimi (until 2004, Xersonovka and Khersonovka) [1] is a village and municipality in the Sabirabad Rayon of Azerbaijan. It has a population of 702.

‘Alī ‘Imādu d-Dīn Nasīmī, often known as Nesimi, was a 14th-century Azerbaijani or Turkmen Ḥurūfī poet. Azerbaijani peacekeeping forces

The Baku N unit is the primary peacekeeping unit of the Azerbaijani Land Forces. The Army's peacekeeping detachment was formed in 1997 and was later transformed into a battalion. Soldiers are carefully selected for the Baku N unit. The unit is trained intensively on tactical preparation, sports, foreign languages, contacts with local residents and other subjects. After six months of training, members are sent to join peacekeeping operations.

28 May Street street in Baku, Azerbaijan

The 28 May Street is located in the Nəsimi raion of Baku. Beginning at the Bulbul Avenue, it spans about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) and ends up at the Richard Sorge Street. The street, among other names, was known as Telefonnaya during the Russian rule, then was renamed to 28 April Street to mark the date of the establishment of Azerbaijan Soviet Socialist Republic. Since 1992 it is known under the current name, which highlights the date when Azerbaijan Democratic Republic was declared.

Buzovnaneft is residential building located at the intersection of Samad Vurgun and Nizami streets in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku. The building is located in front of the Nasimi square. The construction process was completed in 1945 by architects Sadig Dadashov and Mikayil Huseynov.
