A motor torpedo boat is a fast torpedo boat, especially of the mid 20th century. The motor in the designation originally referred to their use of petrol engines, typically marinised aircraft engines or their derivatives, which distinguished them from other naval craft of the era, including other torpedo boats, that used steam turbines or reciprocating steam engines. Later, diesel-powered torpedo boats appeared, in turn or retroactively referred to as "motor torpedo boats" for their internal combustion engines, as distinct from steam powered reciprocating or turbine propulsion.
A superyacht or megayacht is a large and luxurious pleasure vessel. There are no official or agreed upon definitions for such yachts, but these terms are regularly used to describe professionally crewed motor or sailing yachts, ranging from 40 metres (130 ft) to more than 180 metres (590 ft) in length, and sometimes include yachts as small as 24 metres (79 ft).
The N500 Naviplane was a French hovercraft built by Société d'Etude et de Développement des Aéroglisseurs Marins (SEDAM) in Pauillac, Gironde for the cross English Channel route. Intended to have a large passenger and crew capacity, it was for a while the largest hovercraft. Only two were built. The first was destroyed by a fire before entering service, the second proved unreliable and was broken up in 1985 at the end of its service.

Alysia is a luxury charter Motor yacht owned by Greek businessman Andreas Liveras. She was constructed in steel during 2006 by the Neorion ship-yard for a cost of about 116 million EUR. This made her Forbes magazine's most expensive yacht in the world for 2006.
Pegasus V is a yacht originally built for Carlos Peralta, head of lusacell. The yacht was ordered in 2002 at the Danyard A/S Frederikshavn shipyard in Denmark. One year later Princess Mariana was delivered by Royal Denship. In 2006 she was the 33rd largest yacht in the world.
Anastasia is a super-yacht built in May 2008 at the shipyard Oceanco. Its exterior and interior were designed by Sam Sorgiovanni.
Alexander is a yacht which was built in 1965 in Lubecker Flender shipyard. It was later refurbished in Germany for use as yacht charter. The yacht was owned by the Latsis family until 2015.
Motor Yacht A is a superyacht designed by Philippe Starck and engineered by naval architect Martin Francis. It was built by the Blohm + Voss shipyard at the HDW deepwater facility in Kiel. It was ordered in November 2004, and delivered in 2008 at a rumoured cost of US$300 million. With a length of 119 metres (390 ft) and measuring almost 6,000 tonnes, it is one of the largest motor yachts in the world. It is owned by Russian entrepreneur and industrialist Andrey Melnichenko. To avoid seizure by EU authorities, the yacht has been laid up in the United Arab Emirates since 2022.
Azzam is a private superyacht built by German shipyard Lürssen Yachts. Azzam was launched on 5 April 2013. At 180 metres (590 ft) in length, she is the longest private motor yacht in the world. She has a beam of 20.8 metres (68 ft) and an unusually shallow draft of 4.3 m. The yacht was delivered on 9 September 2013.
ROCK.IT is a 60.35 m superyacht launched at the Feadship yard in Aalsmeer. The yacht was designed by Dutch design company Sinot Exclusive Yacht Design, which also worked with Feadship on the 88 m (289 ft) twins Musashi and Fountainhead. The yacht is owned by Jimmy John Liautaud, who was involved in the design process.
Khalilah is a super-yacht launched on the 25th of July 2014 at the Palmer Johnson shipyard in the United States and delivered later that year. The composite hull was built in Norway by Brødrene Aa. Both the interior and exterior design of Khalilah were done by an in house team of Palmer Johnson. A sistership is currently under construction.
Lionheart is a name applied to the main motor yacht owned by Brisbane businessman Ronny Rothwell.
Black Pearl is a sailing yacht launched in 2016, which is 106.7 meters (350.1 ft) in length. It has three DynaRig masts supporting a sail area of 2,900 square meters (31,215 sq ft). The yacht was known during its build process originally as Oceanco Y712 and thereafter as "Project Solar". The hull is steel, the superstructure aluminum, and the masts carbon fiber. The yacht is owned by the family of Russian billionaire Oleg Burlakov, who died in 2021.
The 80 m (260 ft) superyacht Yasmine of the Sea was launched at the Oceanco yard in Alblasserdam. Monaco-based, The A Group designed the exterior of Stargate, with interior design by Camillo Costantini & The A Group. She has two sister ships, the 1999 built 80 m (260 ft) Constellation and the 2000 built 95 m (312 ft) Indian Empress.

Musashi is a motor yacht built in 2011 by Feadship and is owned by American billionaire Larry Ellison. With an overall length of 87.78 m (288.0 ft) and a beam of 13.90 m (45.6 ft) she is the 79th largest yacht in the world, tied with her sister ship Fountainhead. Musashi is named after the Japanese samurai Miyamoto Musashi.
Romea is a motor yacht built in 2015 by Abeking & Rasmussen. Owned by Russian billionaire Alexander Nesis, she has an overall length of 81.80 m (268.4 ft) and a beam of 14.00 m (45.93 ft).
Lalibela was a 42 metres (138 ft) yacht which was destroyed by fire, while docked in Port Camille Rayon, Golfe Juan, on October 13, 2018.
Wilmington Boat Works, Inc. or WILBO was a shipbuilding company in Wilmington, California. To support the World War 2 demand for ships Victory Shipbuilding built: Tugboats, crash rescue boats and sub chasers. Wilmington Boat Works opened in 1920 building Fishing boat and yachts, by Hugh Angelman, Willard Buchanan and Tom Smith. After the Korean War the shipyard closed in 1958. The shipyard was located at 400 Yacht Street, Wilmington, the site of the current USC boatyard.
