A Tribe Called Quest was an American hip hop group formed in Queens, New York City, in 1985, originally composed of rapper and main producer Q-Tip, rapper Phife Dawg, DJ and co-producer Ali Shaheed Muhammad, and rapper Jarobi White. The group is regarded as a pioneer of alternative hip hop and merging jazz with hip hop, influencing numerous hip hop and R&B musicians.

On February 15, 1999, he was fatally shot nine times in his East Harlem neighborhood.

Shortly after its release, he began working on Section.80.

The label was founded in 2004 by record producer Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, who also serves as the chief executive officer. The song was released as a single on 10 November 2014 though its lyric video was already uploaded in YouTube several months earlier which was on 29 June 2014. The song eventually became the lead single from Smugglaz's album, Walking Distance (2015). "Nakakamiss" debuted at number one in the Billboard Philippines' Catalog Charts. Also, the song awarded as the most downloaded song during the 28th Awit Awards making Smugglaz, Curse One, Dello, and Flict-G the most downloaded artists of the same event. The video of their live version of the song recorded from the "Wish Bus" of Wish 107.5 became the first video of the radio station's YouTube page to topped the local trends list of the said video-streaming site.
Ex Battalion is a Filipino hip hop collective from Muntinlupa City, Philippines, primarily known for their hit single "Hayaan Mo Sila" that went #2 on the Billboard Philippine Top 20. The group has numerous local hits that dominated Philippine social media and they are credited for "revolutionizing" Pinoy hip hop to a new modern sound. The hip-hop collective currently consists of Skusta Clee, Flow G, JRoa, Brando, Emcee Rhenn, and King Badger. The group was founded by Honcho, who reportedly left the group in 2022.
