FlipTop Rap Battle League is the first and largest running professional rap battle conference in the Philippines founded by Alaric Riam Yuson in 2010. The league promotes Pinoy hip hop. FlipTop is heavily influenced by the original rap battle leagues in the West founded in 2008 – Grind Time Now (US), King of the Dot (Canada) and Don't Flop (UK), which inspired the creation of FlipTop and other battle leagues around the world. The league also branched out into several divisions after its success. The league is currently under management of a self-produced events and artist management company, FlipTop Kru Corp which was established also by Yuson.
Ex Battalion is a Filipino hip hop collective from Muntinlupa City, Philippines, primarily known for their hit single "Hayaan Mo Sila" that went #2 on the Billboard Philippine Top 20. The group has numerous local hits that dominated Philippine social media and they are credited for "revolutionizing" Pinoy hip hop to a new modern sound. The hip-hop collective currently consists of Skusta Clee, Flow G, JRoa, Brando, Emcee Rhenn, and King Badger. The group was founded by Bosx1ne, who reportedly left the group in 2022.
IV of Spades was a Filipino rock band from Metro Manila, Philippines, consisting of vocalist, bassist and keyboardist Zild Benitez, vocalist and lead guitarist Blaster Silonga, and drummer Badjao de Castro. Unique served as the band's lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist until he left the band in 2018. The band first gained exposure with the release of their 4th single "Mundo". On August 21, 2020, the band entered an indefinite hiatus.

Old Cash Dawgs, more popularly known by the shortened term O.C. Dawgs, is a Filipino hip hop trio consisting of Skusta Clee, Bullet D, Tito Odnarb and Jnske that was formed in 2012. The collective is known for their numerous hit singles "Pauwi Nako", "Akala Ko Nung Una", "Kriminal", and "Hayaan Mo Sila", the collaborative trap track with Ex Battalion in 2017 that almost topped the now-defunct Billboard Philippines Top 20 chart.
