Oryx Timgad

ORYX Motors's current focus is on pickup trucks. Their first model, the Timgad Oryx, is a two-door pickup featuring a 1.6L PSA gasoline engine. The Timgad Oryx prioritizes robustness, reliability, affordability, and fuel efficiency. It also boasts a well-finished interior and modern amenities like ABS brakes, dual airbags, air conditioning, and the option to install a Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) conversion kit. [6]

ORYX Motors plans to expand their offerings in the future. Their roadmap includes the development of a double-cabin pickup truck and a dedicated off-road vehicle.

Operations and Development

Oryx Motors reportedly partnered with international engineering firms and automotive parts suppliers to develop the Timgad. Their goal was to create a vehicle suited to the Algerian market, with a focus on affordability and robustness. While the Timgad was initially announced for release in 2017, information on its current production status or availability seems limited.
