Per Håkan Gessle is a Swedish pop singer, songwriter and musician. He is best known as the male half and primary lyricist of the Swedish pop rock duo Roxette, which he formed with Marie Fredriksson in 1986 and which was disbanded after her death in 2019. The duo achieved international success in the late-1980s and early-1990s with their albums Look Sharp! (1988) and Joyride (1991), and topped the charts in the US four times, most notably with "It Must Have Been Love" which was featured in the film Pretty Woman. Prior to the formation of Roxette, he had a successful career in native Sweden as the frontman for Gyllene Tider. The band released three number-one albums during the early 1980s but disbanded shortly after their fourth album, The Heartland Café (1984).
Gyllene Tider was a Swedish pop group fronted by Roxette singer, guitarist and songwriter Per Gessle. They were one of the best-selling Swedish bands ever and have had numerous hits in Scandinavia, starting with the break-through song "Flickorna på TV2" in 1980. The band earned legendary status in Sweden based on their power pop, catchy choruses and lyrics about life in a small town.
Jason Michael Bosak Diakité, known under the stage name Timbuktu, is a Swedish rapper and reggae artist. In the mid-1990s, he started as part of the rap group Excel before going solo as Timbuktu. On March 1, 2020, he published the well-received memoir, A Drop of Midnight. He has won several Grammis awards, the highest music awards in Sweden, including Lyricist of the Year and best Hip-hop Record of the Year.
Looptroop Rockers is a hip hop group from Västerås, Sweden. The members are rappers Promoe, Supreme, DJ/Producer Embee and CosM.I.C. On their fourth album, Good Things, the group changed its name from Looptroop to Looptroop Rockers, a name used unofficially for some years prior to the change.
Lisa Nilsson is a Swedish singer. She was discovered by the producer William (Billy) Butt and she is perhaps best known in Sweden for her 1992 hit, Himlen runt hörnet, written by Mauro Scocco and Johan Ekelund. It was released in English in 1995, titled Ticket to Heaven. She has released four subsequent albums, Till Morelia in 1995, Viva in 2000, Små rum in 2002 and Hotel Vermont 609 in 2006, all in Swedish. A greatest hits compilation, Samlade sånger followed in 2003 and contained two new songs. Prior to Himlen runt hörnet she had released two English language albums, Lean On Love in 1989 and Indestructible in 1991, both released by William Butt. She also participated in Melodifestivalen 1989.
Håkan Georg Hellström is a Swedish musician. He made his breakthrough in Sweden in 2000 with the song "Känn ingen sorg för mig Göteborg" and the album with the same name. He has released nine studio albums to date with eight reaching number one on the Swedish Albums Chart, while Ett kolikbarns bekännelser reached number two.
Laleh Pourkarim, known mononymously as Laleh, is an Iranian-Swedish singer-songwriter, record producer, guitarist, pianist, actress and record company manager. Following a short acting career, she entered the music industry in 2005 with her self-titled debut album which peaked at number one in Sweden and went on to become the highest selling album of the year.

Vapen & ammunition is the fifth studio album by Swedish alternative rock band Kent. It was released on 15 April 2002 through RCA Records and BMG. Absent from this album is a long, mostly-instrumental song, rounding the album off, as had been a characteristic of the band ever since their second record Verkligen. The white tiger on the cover is a tribute to the band's hometown Eskilstuna: the zoo in town had white tigers as its main attraction.

In 2003 she again entered Melodifestivalen with "Crazy in Love", which finished fourth in the final. She also hosted the final of Melodifestivalen 2005. Johnson is today one of the most successful artists in Sweden, with several Gold and Platinum records and since 2014 even hosts her own Swedish TV-show from Nashville, Jills veranda.

Movits! is a Swedish music group from Luleå. The group plays swing mixed with hip hop. Their debut album Äppelknyckarjazz, literally translated as Apple swiper jazz or scrumping jazz, was released in November 2008 and has been recognized by national Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter. In the United States the album Äppelknyckarjazz is released by Comedy Central Records.

He competed with the song "Cara Mia" in the 3rd semi-final on 17 February 2007 in Örnsköldsvik, and progressed to the final, which was held on 10 March at Globen in Stockholm. There his performance of "Cara Mia" finished in third place behind winners The Ark and runner-up Andreas Johnson. Four singles were released from the album; "Cara Mia", "Work of Art ", "Brother Oh Brother" and "Miss America", all of which reached the Top 50 in on the Swedish Singles Chart. MZW, Zelmerlöw's second studio album, was released in March 2009. The album peaked at number 1 on the Swedish Albums Chart. On 18 November 2008, it was announced that he would once again compete in Melodifestivalen, this time with the song "Hope & Glory". Zelmerlöw took part in the second semi-final on 14 February 2009 and once again progressed to the final on 14 March at Globen. "Hope & Glory" ultimately placed fourth despite receiving the most votes from the jury. Four singles were released from the album; "Impossible", "Hope & Glory" and "Hold On" reached the Top 50 in on the Swedish Singles Chart. He performed during the 2nd Semi-final on 21 May 2015 for a place in the Final. The song progressed to the Final which took place on 23 May 2015. The song went on to win the contest with 365 points. "Should've Gone Home" was released as the second single from the album. The song peaked at number 27 on the Swedish Singles Chart. "Fire in the Rain" was released as the lead single from the re-issued version of the album titled Perfectly Re:Damaged. The song peaked at number 31 on the Swedish Singles Chart. Chameleon, Zelmerlöw's seventh studio album, was released in December 2016. It peaked at number 6 on the Swedish Albums Chart. "Fire in the Rain" was released as the lead single from the album. "Hanging on to Nothing" was released as the second single from the album on 26 August 2016. The song did not enter the Swedish Singles Chart, but peaked at number 2 on the Sweden Heatseeker Songs. "Glorious" was released as the third single from the album on 24 November 2016. The song did not enter the Swedish Singles Chart, but peaked at number 17 on the Sweden Heatseeker Songs.
