"Oh My God" is the debut song by Norwegian rock musician Ida Maria. The song was originally released in October 2007 but was to be re-released in the UK following the success of her previous single, "I Like You So Much Better When You're Naked". The re-release date was pushed back several times; however, it was eventually rescheduled on 26 January 2009 along with a music video. [2]

"Oh My God" was featured in the final scene and credits of season two, episode two of the Netflix comedy Big Mouth. [3] Additionally, the song has been used in promos for the CW show Gossip Girl , [4] and was featured in episode #386 of the radio version of This American Life entitled "Fine Print". [5] It followed a story on health insurance. The song was also featured in several movie trailers, including It's Kind of a Funny Story [6] and The Virginity Hit . [7]

The NME rated it the 50th best song of 2008. [8]
Time critic Josh Tyrangiel named this the #3 song of 2008, [9] whereas Sasha Frere-Jones rated this the #2 song of the year. [10]

In September 2009, a remix of the song along with a music video was released with Iggy Pop providing backing vocals and appearing in the video.

Oh My God, Charlie Darwin is the third studio album by American band the Low Anthem. It was self-published on September 2, 2008, and re-issued by Bella Union and Nonesuch Records in June 2009. Following the success of their album What the Crow Brings (2007), founding members Ben Knox Miller and Jeffrey Prystowsky welcomed Jocie Adams to the band. They were inspired by the confidence and romanticism of John Steinbeck's novels, and found tension between the human requirement of comfort and Charles Darwin's bleak theories of Darwinism, using his theory of natural selection as a framework to consider academics, politics, and religion. The album is named after Darwin, as the group considered how jarring his "survival of the fittest" theory would seem to a person of faith.
"Power" is a song by American hip hop recording artist Kanye West, released as the lead single from his fifth studio album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (2010). The Strange Familiar is an American pop rock band from Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio. The group was originally formed in 2006 by the husband and wife singer-songwriter team Jeff Andrea and Kira Leyden, former members of the popular Akron, OH band Jaded Era. Their first single, "Courage Is...", gained them significant attention after it was heavily promoted on ABC Family to launch a brand new series. In 2012, the band was featured on mtvU, Season 3 of the hit series The Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars. Other members include fellow Ohio natives Frank Freeman (bass) and Nicholas Sainato (drums).
