The Ohio Community College Athletic Conference or OCCAC is a college athletic conference whose member institutions are community colleges in the states of Ohio and Indiana. It is a member of Region 12 of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
The OCCAC has been around since 1993 in its current state. Prior to 1993, the OCCAC was known as the Ohio Junior College Athletic Conference (OJCAC) and the Turnpike Conference. Currently, the OCCAC has full or limited sport members from 12 community colleges.
Current sports with full conference membership (at least four schools participating) include, women's volleyball, men's basketball, women's basketball, softball and baseball. Several schools also compete in non-conference sports such as men's soccer, women's soccer, track and field, men's golf, women's golf and cross country. The conference's sponsorship of men's golf ended after 2016.

The Northeast Conference (NEC) is a collegiate athletic conference whose schools are members of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Teams in the NEC compete in Division I for all sports; football competes in the Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS). Participating schools are located principally in the Northeastern United States, from which the conference derives its name.

Founded as Columbus Area Technician's School in 1963, it was renamed Columbus Technical Institute in 1965 and was renamed again to its current name in 1987. Mercyhurst North East was a two-year Catholic liberal arts college in North East, Pennsylvania. It was a branch campus of Mercyhurst University. The college was established in 1991 when Mercyhurst College purchased the former St. Mary's College from Redemptorist Fathers, a property first established as Lake Shore Seminary in 1870. Mercyhurst North East offered one-year certificates and two-year associate degrees in a variety of majors. The school campus closed at the end of the 2020–2021 term, consolidating all programs into the larger Mercyhurst campus in Erie.
The Scenic West Athletic Conference is a sports association for junior colleges located in Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Nevada, and California. The conference is a member of the NJCAA and sponsors 10 sports, 5 for men and 5 for women. It is the sole conference in the NJCAA's Region 18.
