The Ohio Valley Conference women's soccer tournament is the conference championship tournament in soccer for the Ohio Valley Conference. In the current format, eight teams compete in the single-elimination tournament, with all games being played at the home field of the higher seed, with seeding based on regular season conference records. The tournament expanded from six teams to its current eight in 2017. The winner, declared conference champion, receives the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division I women's soccer championship.

The Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) is a collegiate athletic conference which operates in the Midwestern and Southeastern United States. It participates in Division I of the NCAA; the conference's football programs compete in partnership with the Big South Conference in the Football Championship Subdivision, the lower of two levels of Division I football competition. The OVC has 11 members, six of which compete in football in the conference.

The 2006 Ohio Valley Conference men's basketball tournament was the postseason men's basketball tournament of the Ohio Valley Conference during the 2005–06 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. It was held February 28 – March 3, 2006. The first round was hosted by the higher seeded team in each game. The semifinals and finals took place at Gaylord Entertainment Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Top seed Murray State won the tournament, defeating Samford in the championship game, and received the Ohio Valley's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. Murray State drew a 14 seed in the Washington, D.C. Regional, facing the 3 seed University of North Carolina.

The Ohio Valley Conference baseball tournament is the conference baseball championship of the NCAA Division I Ohio Valley Conference. In the current format, established in 2023, the top eight regular-season finishers of the conference's 10 baseball schools qualify for the tournament. The bottom four seeds play single-elimination games, paired by seeds as 5–8 and 6–7. The winners of those games advance to single-elimination games, with the 3 and 4 seeds respectively playing the lower and higher seeds among the first-round winners. At this point, the top two seeds join, and the tournament becomes double-elimination. The most recent 2023 edition was held at the venue now known as Marion Stadium in Marion, Illinois. The winner of the tournament receives an automatic berth to the NCAA Division I Baseball Championship.

The 2014 Ohio Valley Conference women's basketball tournament was held March 5–8 at Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. The conference tournament winner received the conference's automatic bid to the 2014 NCAA Tournament. The entire tournament was shown on ESPN3 and the OVC Digital Network.

The SIU Edwardsville Cougars women's soccer team represent Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) in the Ohio Valley Conference of NCAA Division I soccer. The Cougars play their home matches on Bob Guelker Field at Ralph Korte Stadium located in the southwest corner of the SIUE campus in Edwardsville, Illinois. Derek Burton has been head coach since 2008.

The 2017 Ohio Valley Conference men's basketball tournament was the conference tournament for the Ohio Valley Conference. The tournament was held March 1–4, 2017 at Nashville Municipal Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. Jacksonville State defeated UT Martin, 66–55, in championship game to win the tournament and earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

The conference tournament title was the fourth for the Morehead State women's soccer program, and the first for head coach Chris Fox. This was Morehead State's first title since 2013. As tournament champions, Morehead State earned the Ohio Valley's automatic berth into the 2023 NCAA Division I Women's Soccer Tournament.

The 2024 Ohio Valley Conference Women's Basketball Tournament was the final event of the 2023–24 NCAA Division I women's basketball season in the Ohio Valley Conference. The tournament was held March 6–9, 2024 at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana. Southern Indiana, a team ineligible for the NCAA Tournament due to being in the second year of a four-year transition from NCAA Division II, won the OVC tournament. The conference's automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Division I women's basketball tournament instead went to Southern Indiana's defeated opponent in the OVC final, UT Martin.
