Ola Hassis, born 22 March 1951, is a Swedish former cross-country skier, competing for Orsa IF at club level. He won Vasaloppet in 1979. [1] He's the brother of Swedish cross-country skier Bengt Hassis. [2]

Vasaloppet is an annual long distance cross-country ski race held on the first Sunday of March. The 90 km (56 mi) course starts in the village of Sälen and ends in the town of Mora in northwestern Dalarna, Sweden. Sven-Åke Lundbäck is a former Swedish cross-country skier. He competed at the 1972, 1976 and 1980 Olympics in the 15 km, 30 km and 4 × 10 km events and won a gold medal over 15 km in 1972. He was close to a bronze medal in the 4 × 10 km relay in 1972, but fell near the finish; he had another fourth place in the relay in 1980.

Sven-Erik Danielsson is a Swedish cross-country skier who competed from 1982 to 1998. His best World Cup finish was fourth in a 15 km event at West Germany in 1983.

Jenny Hansson Swedish cross-country skier

Jenny Hansson, born 26 August 1980, is a Swedish former cross-country skier who competed between 2002 and 2013. Her best World Cup finish was third in the 4 × 5 km relay in Sweden in November 2008. Hansson's best individual finish was 39th in a 10 km event in Switzerland in 2007. She won Birkebeinerrennet in 2010, and in 2011 she won the women's race in the ski marathon Vasaloppet. In 2011, she won Tjejvasan.

Ulrica Persson, born 7 March 1975, is a Swedish cross-country skier. She won the women's main competition of Vasaloppet in 2001 and 2003. In 2003, she also won Tjejvasan. She also competed in the women's 30 kilometre classical at the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Kerrin Petty-Nilsson, is a US-Swedish cross-country skier. After competing on the cross-country ski team at the University of Vermont, she represented the United States during the 1994 Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer and in Nagano in 1998. She won the 1998 women's main competition of Vasaloppet. and the unofficial women's competitions in 1994 and 1996.

Elias Nilsson, was a Swedish cross-country skier. In 1938, he won the Vasaloppet.

Verner Lundström is a Swedish former cross-country skier. He won Vasaloppet in 1930.

Alfred Lif is a Swedish former cross-country skier. He won the Swedish 50 kilometers national championship in 1935. and in 1939 he won Vasaloppet.

Elin Ek (cross-country skier) Swedish female cross-country skier

Elin Ek,, is a Swedish cross-country skier. She participated at the 1998 Olympic Winter Games in Nagano, the 2002 Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City and the 2006 Olympic Winter Games in Turin. Elin won the Tjejvasan in 1999 and 2006. and the Vasaloppet main women's event in 2007. She also won the women's Worldloppet in the 2006/2007 season.

Henrik Eriksson,, is a Swedish former cross-country skier. When it came to club competitions, he competed for IFK Mora SK. Competing at elite level between 1994 and 2006, he participated at Vasaloppet several times, winning the event in 2001. In Vasaloppet 2002, he ended up 9th and Vasaloppet in 2004 he ended up 10th.

Susanne Nyström, born 29 December 1982 in Laisvall, Sweden is a Swedish female cross-country skier and nurse.

Konrad Pettersson, was a Swedish cross-country skier. He won Vasaloppet in 1927. He represented Luleå SK in club competitions.

Bengt Sigvard Jonsson, born 27 February 1923 in Bodum, Sweden, dead 17 September 1969 at the same place, was a Swedish cross-country skier and lumberjack. He represented Rossöns IK at club level. He won Vasaloppet in 1956. He died in a drowning accident.

Lars-Arne Bölling, born Lars Arne Torsten 6 October 1944 in Sörsjön, Sweden, is a Swedish former cross-country skier competing for IFK Mora and Orsa IF at club level. He won Vasaloppet in 1970 and 1972. He became Swedish national champion in the 15 kilometers race in 1970, and in the 1973 30 kilometers race as well as the 1970 and 1971 50 kilometers races. He was also part of the IFK Mora team winning the Swedish national relay championship in 1970-1973, and in 1974 he won the same relay title with Orsa IF.

Pauli Siitonen Finnish cross-country skier

Pauli Ensio Siitonen is a retired Finnish cross-country skier. He was one of the most successful long-distance cross-country skiers of the 1970s, and in 1973 became the second Finnish skier to win Vasaloppet. Siitonen competed at the 1968 Olympics, and won the Finlandia-hiihto in Finland and König-Ludwig-Lauf in West Germany.

Hans Persson, born 18 January 1959, is a Swedish former cross-country skier, specialized at long-distance races. In 1984, he won Vasaloppet. Representing at Åsarna IK, he won the Swedish national relay championship with that club in 1980-1983 and again in 1988.

Bengt Hassis, born 11 January 1957, is a Swedish former cross-country skier. He represented Orsa IF at club level. In 1985 and 1986, he won Vasaloppet. During his 1986 victory, he broke the Vasaloppet record, which lasted until 1998, when it was broken by Peter Göransson.
