Olav Moen (19 October 1909 - 5 June 1995) was a Norwegian politician for the Liberal Party.
He served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Oppland during the term 1973–1977.

Gamlehaugen has a history that goes as far back as the Middle Ages, and the list of previous owners includes many of the wealthiest men in Bergen. Today owned by the Norwegian state, the most recent private owner was Christian Michelsen, a politician and shipping magnate who later became the first Prime Minister of Norway after the dissolution of the union between Sweden and Norway. Michelsen commissioned the construction of the current main building at Gamlehaugen, where he would live for most of the rest of his life.
Gjermund Eggen was a Norwegian cross-country skier who won three gold medals at the 1966 FIS Nordic World Ski Championships. The championships were held in Oslo in conjunction with the Holmenkollen ski festival, and so Eggen's medals also counted as Holmenkollen victories. He was awarded the Holmenkollen medal in 1968. He competed at the 1968 Winter Olympics in the 30 km event, but finished only 34th. Eggen died in Elverum at age 77.
Fritz Yngvar Moen was a Norwegian man wrongfully convicted of two distinct murders, serving a total of 18 years in prison. After the convictions were quashed, an official inquiry was instigated to establish what had gone wrong in the authorities' handling of the case, and on 25 June 2007 the commission delivered harsh criticism to the police, the prosecution and the courts in what was immediately termed Norway's worst miscarriage of justice of all time.

Volsdalen Church is a parish church of the Church of Norway in Ålesund Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located on the south side of the island of Nørvøya in the town of Ålesund. It is the church for the Volsdalen parish which is part of the Nordre Sunnmøre prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Møre. The red, wooden church was built in a rectangular style in 1974 by the architect Leif Olav Moen. The church seats about 500 people.
