The Old Rochester Regional School District and Superintendency Union # 55 serve the towns of Marion, Mattapoisett and Rochester in Plymouth County, Massachusetts. The three communities have a combined year round population of just over 15,000. The communities are located in the southeast corner of Massachusetts within 60 miles (97 km) of both Boston and Providence and within 10 miles (16 km) of the Cape Cod Canal. This location provides easy access to numerous cultural, recreational and educational resources.

Old Rochester Regional High School serves the towns of Marion, Mattapoisett, and Rochester. The school was originally built in 1961 and underwent a major renovation beginning in 2001. This project added the auditorium and combined the high school with the adjacent Old Rochester Regional Junior High School. The student population is approximately 700 students. Although the school is named "Old Rochester", it is not located in the current town of Rochester. Instead, it was built in Mattapoisett, with its fields leaking into Marion, Massachusetts. The name Old Rochester refers to the original town of Rochester which included all three towns served by ORRHS. ORRHS is a part of the Old Rochester Regional School District.

Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School or Old Colony Regional Vocational Technical High School District is located on an 80-acre campus in Rochester, Massachusetts, United States, the geographical center of the five-member town school district that includes Acushnet, Carver, Mattapoisett, Rochester and students from Freetown & Lakeville Public Schools. Note that Lakeville is a member town while, Freetown is not and its students served are limited to around 90. Old Colony is fully accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, as well as the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Diman Regional Vocational Technical High School is a public vocational high school located in Fall River, Massachusetts. The high school serves a regional school district comprising the city of Fall River, and the surrounding towns of Somerset, Swansea and Westport. The school has an enrollment of over 1,400 students and offers vocational-technical education in 18 different programs.
