Ole-Anton Teigen (born 15 July 1954) is a Norwegian politician for the Socialist Left Party.

The Socialist Left Party or SV, is a democratic socialist political party in Norway.

Born in Lyngen, took his higher education in 1979. He was a member of Lyngen municipal council from 1991 to 2007, and of Troms county council from 2003 to 2007. He served as a deputy representative to the Norwegian Parliament from Troms during the terms 20012005 and 20052009. [1]

It is common for members of a county council to also hold seats in municipal councils, but very rare that they also hold legislative (Storting) or other government office, without a leave of absence.

From 2001 he is also a member of Nord-Hålogaland assize court. From 2007 to 2010 he is the chair of the Norwegian Farmers and Smallholders Union. [1]

Nord-Troms District Court is a district court located in the city of Tromsø in Troms county, Norway. The court serves the part of the county located north of the Malangen fjord, plus the territory of Svalbard. Lyngen (fjord) fjord in Troms, Norway

Lyngen is a fjord in Troms county, Norway. The 82-kilometre (51 mi) long fjord is the longest fjord in Troms county and it is often used as the dividing line between "northern Troms" and "southern Troms". The fjord is located within the municipalities of Skjervøy, Nordreisa, Lyngen, Gáivuotna–Kåfjord, and Storfjord. It stretches from the village of Hatteng in Storfjord Municipality in the south all the way north to the islands of Skjervøy Municipality. The Lyngen Alps lie along the western shore of the fjord and the European route E06 highway runs along the eastern shore. The Kåfjorden branches off of the main fjord on the east side, and the southernmost part of the fjord is also known as the Storfjorden.
