A shopping mall is a modern, chiefly North American, term for a form of shopping precinct or shopping center in which one or more buildings form a complex of shops with interconnecting walkways, usually indoors. In 2017, shopping malls accounted for 8% of retailing space in the United States.
Vaughan Mills is a regional outlet mall located at the southeast corner of Highway 400 and Rutherford Road, in Vaughan, Ontario, just south of Canada's Wonderland. It is one of the largest enclosed shopping centres in Canada, and the largest shopping mall in York Region with almost 1,300,000 sq ft (120,000 m2) of retail space. The complex has over 200 retail stores, restaurants, and entertainment outlets.
Lenox Square is an enclosed upscale shopping mall located in the Buckhead district of Atlanta, Georgia. Lenox Square comprises 1,558,678 square feet (144,805.9 m2) of retail space, with 198 stores on four levels, including a large food court. The mall is home to three anchor stores: Macy's, Bloomingdale's, and Neiman Marcus. The mall is owned by Simon Property Group and has been owned by the Indianapolis-based developer since 1998, along with the neighboring Phipps Plaza shopping center.
Times Square is a shopping centre and office tower complex in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. The complex, owned by Wharf Properties, part of The Wharf (Holdings) Limited group, opened in April 1994.
Langham Place is a commercial complex and shopping centre in Mong Kok, Kowloon, Hong Kong. The official opening was on 25 January 2005. The complex occupies two blocks defined by Argyle Street, Portland Street, Shantung Street and Reclamation Street. Shanghai Street separates the two portions of the complex, which are connected via two overhead walkways. A hotel is on one side of the development while the commercial elements are located on the other side.
Westmoreland Mall is a two-level, enclosed shopping mall in the municipality of Hempfield Township, Pennsylvania, southeast of Pittsburgh, and owned and operated by CBL Properties. It was completed in 1977, was extensively renovated and expanded in 1993–1994, and includes H&M, JCPenney, Live! Casino Pittsburgh, Macy's, Macy's Backstage, Macy's Home and Old Navy as anchor tenants and over 170 retailers. It contains 1,287,620 square feet (119,624 m2) of retail space on 103 acres (0.4 km2), making it the third-largest shopping complex in Western Pennsylvania in terms of square footage and the largest mall between Pittsburgh and Lancaster. Surrounding the mall are over 25 retailers and dining establishments, including the Westmoreland Crossing strip shopping center, which opened in 1978 and features a 15-screen AMC Theatres complex, Dick's Sporting Goods, Levin Furniture, Michaels Arts and Crafts, Planet Fitness and T.J. Maxx. A variety of restaurants and outparcels completes the mall complex.
The Shoppes at Carlsbad is a shopping mall in Carlsbad, California. The mall had been formerly known as Plaza Camino Real, Westfield Shoppingtown Plaza Camino Real, Westfield Plaza Camino Real, and Westfield Carlsbad. Its anchor stores are JCPenney, Macy's and Sears. A Robinsons-May closed in 2006.
Woodburn Premium Outlets is an outlet mall in Woodburn, Oregon, United States. The complex, located between the cities of Portland and Salem on Interstate 5, opened in 1999 as the Woodburn Company Stores. Owned and operated by Craig Realty Group, the center has over 350,000 square feet (33,000 m2) of retail space.
Hong Kong SkyCity is a large business and entertainment complex adjacent to Hong Kong International Airport, and is built on land owned by the Airport Authority Hong Kong. It currently includes the AsiaWorld-Expo, Terminal 2 (SkyPlaza) and SkyPier.
Forrestal Village is a 720,000-square-foot (67,000 m2), 52-acre (210,000 m2) mixed-use retail and office complex in Plainsboro Township, Middlesex County, New Jersey, along Route 1. Despite being in Plainsboro it has a Princeton address. It is just north of Princeton University's Forrestal campus and is named for James Forrestal. The center is anchored by Can Do Fitness and a Westin hotel. In recent years, it has suffered a sharp decline, turning into a dead mall. Renovations and rebranding as an "office" complex are underway to bring customers back. The center has spawned some development in the area, including an adjacent office complex and several apartment and condo communities, including Princeton Windrows, which is right across the street.
Triple Five Group is a conglomerate based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, which specializes in shopping malls, entertainment complexes, hotels, real estate and banks. The company owns and operates two of North America's largest malls, the West Edmonton Mall in Alberta and the Mall of America in Minnesota, both of which contain a wide variety of entertainment attractions alongside traditional retail. The company also owns the American Dream Meadowlands mall, on track to open at the Meadowlands Sports Complex in New Jersey on October 25, 2019. Triple Five's malls are often considered tourist destinations because of their size and the attractions they offer.
iSQUARE is a 31-storey high shopping centre located at 63 Nathan Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon, Hong Kong, on the former site of the Hyatt Regency Hotel. It was developed by the Associated International Hotels Ltd.
Lakeview Square Mall is an enclosed shopping mall serving the city of Battle Creek, Michigan. It opened in 1983 and features no anchor stores. Previous anchor stores at the mall included Sears, J. C. Penney, Macy's, and Gilmore Brothers. Other major tenants include Barnes & Noble, Shoe Dept. Encore, and Dunham's Sports. The mall is managed by GK Development.
LHT Tower or Luk Hoi Tong Building is an office building and shopping mall at 31 Queen's Road Central, Central, Hong Kong. It is directly adjacent to MTR Central Station. It was opened in November 2011.
JCube is a shopping centre located in Jurong East, Singapore. It opens from 10am to 10pm and is home to Singapore’s first Olympic-size ice rink and the first IMAX theatre in the suburbs. It was built on the former site of the Jurong Entertainment Centre. The name, JCube was decided on after a naming competition held in 2010. J represents the mall’s location in Jurong. Cube represents what JCube was designed to look like - an ice cube. It was co-designed by RSP Architects and Benoy. It is owned by CapitaMall Trust and managed by CapitaMalls Asia and thus is a participating mall in CapitaStars, the cardless rewards programme by CapitaMalls Asia.
Grand Century Place is a multicomplex including a shopping mall named MOKO, two office towers and a modern hotel named Royal Plaza Hotel. It is connected to the Mong Kok East MTR Station. It has been renovated more than twice, the last one being a major overhaul, including new shops, a new front entrance and a new name.

Center 66, developed by Hang Lung Properties, is located in Chong'an District, the central business district of Wuxi, close to the junction of Zhongshan Lu and Renmin Zhong Lu, the city's two busiest commercial streets. It is a mixed-use development consists of office and retail. The retail component was opened in late 2013.
